Please bring back same faction ques. It was like the only fun thing to do on my rogue. Now with 1hr ques i might aswell just log off and play a different game. Its too late to swap to alliance and loose my chars and friends. Rogue is under-powered for pve and its hard to even get a group, with no bg’s thers almost no point playing. World pvp is pointless, its just running around for hours killing a few ppl for almost no honour. Why not just let everyone do BG’s when they want

If Blizzard sees anything positive out of 40+min plus queues and ZERO off peak games for Horde then they really don’t care about the satisfaction or fairness of horde/alliance PVP.

Nope. Way less alliance pvp than horde. The disparity isn’t just because of population ratios.
We won’t kill you at the summoning stones anymore if we can get faster BG queues lol
In all seriousness, picture getting off work and wanting to queue BG with your friends. Oh wait, there is a 1hr+ queue time.

I enjoyed it and hope that they allow it to continue.
On the way to R14 I dealt with high queue times here and there. I find it’s enjoyable to just get back with my old teammates for a quick game here and there to relive old memories. It’s harder to coordinate that when the time to get in a bg is 20+ minutes and we all got back out our lives now that covid shutdowns ended. We enjoyed doing that this weekend and sometimes playing against other people we knew from our server on the opposite side.

This weekend was awesome, I finally got to pvp just like I used to in original TBC. I was pretty close to only raid logging for the month and than cancelling my sub. Now I can actually keep pushing to progress my character through pvp.
Please implement this full time.

I was very happy with the change. I was able to get fast queues instead of the normal 45min-60min queues. I hope Blizzard re-implements this change.
This past weekend was a lot of fun. Having to wait in 1-2 hour queue’s feels terrible and makes the grind impossible. I don’t care which faction you are I wouldn’t want any of you guys waiting that long to then be put against a premade for a 5 min loss, feels so bad. Please make this a permanent feature Blizz.

Shorter queuetimes have never served as an incentive for a significant number of players to change factions to make a difference.
“Oh,” you say, “There was one guy!” No. It hasn’t happened and it never will. People don’t choose their faction by PvP queuetime. They choose it for personal reasons having to do with where their friends play and their faction identity.
This is kinda where your argument falls apart. Faction imbalance has shown to swap at a whim based on racials (ie pre wod to wod and now post wod).
This is a player created problem that things like free alliance boosts and swaps would help curve. That or Blizzard needs to give up on the two factions and just combine everyone.
Hvh ques is a lazy short sighted fix.

Oh like how classic alliance had paladins where 3 could buff a 40 man raid and 1 shaman could buff only 4 members of his party?
Or having blessing of salv and easy mode raids for all of classic?
Or do you mean how the best weapons in the game were swords and a 2 hand mace… exactly matching up with humans weapon skill?
Or do you mean how both legendaries in classic were also a sword and mace?

I enjoyed the new bg system. Made me not want to ditch all my hordies and roll ally just for the queue time.
It’s going to be hilarious when Wrath Classic comes out and all the ‘diehard’ Hordies applauding this change and going ‘it’s not the racials bro!’ are suddenly all sporting blue backgrounds and trashing Horde.

just lol, lets force people to re-roll their entire character, faction grinds etc to avoid an insane 45 min queue time for 150 honor, all because the alliance want more ppl to play alliance.
Completely agree.
Folks who cite faction identity is a bunch of bs. The only people that identify with a faction are those in the RP community, which is why they are always the most consistent.
Like I said earlier, if Blizzard swapped racials between the factions and opened a character transfer, we would watch the scales tilt in the other direction pretty rapidly, It would start with the hardcore pvp streamers and arena folks and roll from there.
The issue here isn’t that people don’t want to abandon the horde, it’s that they don’t want to abandon racial metas which only really matter if you are a top tier arena player.
The one argument I do accept is the friends one. If you have a guild you are attached to, and friends you play with, refusing a faction swap would be understandable.
It’s a difficult problem to solve, to be sure….but this horde v horde thing is a bandaid, not a fix.
Agreed. Though FREE swaps would make this less of an issue. Everyone would be able to go together. Even a 75% discount restricts some people. Blizzard doesn’t wanna lose out on that juicy juicy services money though lol
It’s not even a bandaid man… It’s like trying to stop a giant whole in your leg from bleeding by cutting out a patch of skin off your but with a rusty knife to patch the hole in your leg. You’re fixing a problem by creating another one at the expense of another body part.
