Salted Pork

I mean, its a nice one, except the cooking time.

Salted Pork.

Your mistake was adding pork. It weirds out the flavor of good salt.

I used to live in Hawaii and there is nothing like Kalua pork in a slow cooker with a side of rice and some mac salad.

Thanks. Now I’ve solved a mystery AND I’m hungry.

Remember the first rule of Salted Pork:
Always add salt to taste.

I’m going to a picnic on Monday and one of the cooks is bringing Hawaiian potato-mac salad. I will eat way too much of it lol.

Salt is essencial, nonetheless I consider it the worst idea ever.

Who would have thought the butt of a pork was tasty

Who had the idea and the motivation to eat a pork’s butt with salt?

I am so jealous.

Eat too much of it, and then eat some more for me, okay?

What do you think of a Panda with Salt?

Is panda eating illegal too in the west?

Bill Clinton, probably.

No, here in America you can kill and eat all the free range Pandas you can find.
They are however, very very hard to find.

Amazing thing about pork and pigs is that the only thing inedible is the squeel.

Kalua pork nachos

Capicola ham.
It’s pork, perfected.

Don’t you have to soak the Salted Pork in a bath to leech the salt out of it? From what I remember, the salt is to preserve the meat, not give it flavor.

Exactly, like salted cod.
You kind of Boil it back to life, or soak it back to life.
Either way your changing that water a great many times (and it’s still gonna be too salty)
