The quest cannot be completed because Sal’salabim will not attack. When prompted to start the fight, he turns hostile for just under one second then changes back to friendly. I have spam started the fight and used dots to get him to 1hp but he will not die, reset, or let me complete the quest. This has been an issue for the past two days on Whitemane TBC.

Bugged on multiple realms, tried to complete the quest today, he won’t even turn hostile on me. He just turns away
Yep, still bugged right now on Faerlina. Will not attack when spoken to.
Arcanite Reaper is same thing. start dialogue and he does a 360 and nothing. Please fix blizzard.
bump this is occurring again. Why is it so difficult to fix a quest that’s been having the same issue 1 year +

If so many people have had issues with this why does it constantly keep happening? This is unacceptable for the same quest to have the same issue, smh. Please fix this, pretty please.
This quest is bugged… again
Confirmed – Bugged again… seriously just remove the quest at this point.
I had a ticket open, but then I tried again after server maintenance yesterday and it worked, finally, I’m re attempting it on an alt and it’s bugged again.

This quest is still bugged and I could not complete it today…

I will try this again and keep my fingers crossed when the server reboots today
If Sal’salabim is not allowing the completion of “Patience and Understanding” wait and log in IMMEDIATELY after the regular server reboot on Tuesday it will work. It did for me!
