RP server means there will also be ERP. It’s just how it is.

If you don’t want to get ERP’d, just stay out of Elwynn and you’ll be fine.

Moonguard. Where everyone has amazing transmog.

Feathermoon/Scarlet Crusade. Not a lot of RP goes on there at all, it’s a quiet dead server but it’s pretty safe.

Wyrmrest Accord is fine. Most of the perverts stick to Moonguard because at this point ‘stay out of Moonguard Goldshire’ is a meme.

I don’t really have any issues on moon guard. It doesn’t matter what server you’re on you’re going to find people who are into those creepy things you don’t want.

Best thing you can do is join a family friendly guild and turn off any unwanted whispers.

Like all memes it’s oversaturated. 99% of the ERP is relegated to Goldshire and or Silvermoon inns, and most of those are out of server tourists.

I get the feeling this entire thread exists just to try and perpetuate that meme. The only thing different about MG is that it isn’t a dead server and thus has a slightly less apathetic population of players.

MG is safe enough to have any number of family oriented guilds and personal RP groups walking around the major RP hubs.

I’ve been on MG for years and years, weird whispers are the outlier except if you stand in Goldshire

Most RPers/guilds on MG are non-erp, you’ll be fine

Yep. This is the truth, and this is also why people tend to bash WRA. Because by and far we don’t do that or tolerate it. That being said, Moon Guard is a very nice server as well but the stigma of Goldshire taints it wrongfully.

Every RP-server. You shouldn’t just visit Silvermoon City or Elwynn Forest because these are the usual dirty spots.

Which is why I don’t buy the whole “MG is a pervert server!” meme, SW MG is a role model of civility and refinement in most RP spots, it’s the non-RPers who hangout in trade district and trade chat all day you gotta watch out for…
