Equip on your mounts equipment slot to install an emergency parachute that will deploy when dismounted high in the air…
This sounds like we are going to get shoot out of the air alot… something that has not been part of the game ever … This is worrying .
I don’t know why you would come to this conclusion. It will be great for when you fall from high places or for classes that don’t have ability like feather fall/Heroic leap.
I wonder how it will work with WM and the item that dismounts players that are flying.
You ever get on the wrong mount and then jump off a cliff, only to find that the mount you are on cannot fly?

I, of course, don’t need this as i can glide.
If you spent any time setting up a garrison in WoD you can make tons of gliders cheap. Gliders are 10X better than parachutes. You’ll only get dismounted in Warmode via the net, so don’t toggle warmode.
Nah, its perfect for those times you forget you are in a no flying zone or on a non flying mount and run straight off a cliff.

I have accidentally dismounted in midair and I have to close my eyes because I’m usually so high up I can feel myself dropping in real life so I just closed my eyes until my character is done falling
I have 8 mounts. The only ones keybound are the 1 flying mount per faction. I don’t ride off of cliffs. I jump and glide on my DH or jump and Heroic Leap on my Warrior.
It has been part of the game before. There was that one area in Townlong that would dismount you if you flew into it’s AoE zone. I think it was a Shado Pan random daily area.
That was prior to IoT I believe. You could fly into it and not be dismounted immediately every time but most of the time it dismounted you in a hurry.
