I took a long break from this game, and when I returned, I was shocked and sadden to see Wintergrasp as a battleground. I didn’t say much at the time because I assumed it was a lazy fix to something that happened during my break. However, to see it stick around in Shadowlands is very disappointing. Super sadface!
Let’s not be lazy and keep world pvp as world pvp. If Blizz wants to add a new epic battlegrounds, please do the work and create one. Don’t phone in some doodoo. Much appreciated!

With the larger BG queues being separated from the rest, it would have been strange for there to only be two of them. I’m over the moon about WG and Ashran becoming permanent fixtures (especially with the promising rebalance announced) and I think many other players are too.
It’s also a trash pile that needs removed because defense wins almost all matches.
They could have updated it for shadowlands. Just plop another floating island in the mix with and now we have a cool world pvp that doesn’t make for a poopy bg. Plus, the raid could be added back in which was a bigger motivator and made the challenge more enjoyable from my experience.
Anyhoo, fun as world pvp, but gargle balls as a bg.
