Oh shut up.
BFA is actually looking better with Nazjatar on the horizon. I have hopes they can salvage the initial screwup.
Diablo will be fine, great even. Its a full fledged game, just in your pocket instead. Have you looked at the specs of you phone lately? It can handle full 3D games with ease.
Classic will be better than vanilla. A couple changes won't keep me or you away from it.
Also have you seen WC3 remastered? It looks beautiful.
TL;DR: Blizzcon2018 was great, stop hearing what you want to hear.
While I agree with a good chunk of your statement you do realize that the Diablo game is quite literally a reskin... Also I am sorry but mobile is mobile... fck mobile.

I don't care about Diablo, but I am a little concerned about the overall direction of the company. Yes, I understand that mobile devices and consoles are taking up a lot of real estate in the gaming space, but some things just don't translate off the PC. I am worried that the #1 PC gaming company may be abandoning the PC.

There hasn't been a Blizzcon that provoked such toxic, miserable unhappiness since Brack told us we didn't want classic.
I bet you agreed with him.
Now Blizzard is deleting
dislikes on Diablo Immortal's youtube videos. Not toxic comments. Not comments. How, I have no clue. You're the one who's seeing what you want to see, dude. There's turds in your sandwich and you're chewing merrily away, looking at
us like we're fools because we're upset with the chef.
Also have you seen WC3 remastered? It looks beautiful.
Realtalk, though, I am so monstrously excited for WC3 remastered. It's my favorite strategy game and the remaster (tbh it's closer to a remake) is looking absolutely wonderful so far. I can't wait to revisit it but with shiny new cut scene and an incredibly awesome modernized UI.
My secret hope is that WC3 remastered will be a big enough hit to convince Blizz to make WC4, but I know that's an incredibly unlikely pipe dream.

Xiandia From the looks of it the only thing thats going to ruin the Classic wow experience will be the community.
There was a sense of belonging with classic wow, that has delved into what we now have as toxicity. And if you say anything positive you are a white knight? LOL, why?
I've seen thread after thread arguing about what Blizzard is doing, and yet I see no one praising them for actually listening to the community in making Classic! They didn't have to do this you know, but they did it to make us happy and its no where near done. Closer to summer or whenever they allow us to test the waters then complain.
Why must we be up in arms at Blizz and at each others throats? If you guys are attacking each other now, how well will that bode in the actual game? If we can't get along and cooperate in the forums how well will we do trying to work together to defeat bosses and such?
They have to be stopped now, before it's too late to turn back, and they ruin it all over again. The only way to get them to turn back is to stand in front of them and yell and scream at them until they come out of their stupor long enough to see that there is a giant cliff right in front of them and that they need to change their course. They are picking up speed and if they don't do something very quickly their momentum is going to carry them right off that cliff.
It might already be too late, but no point in standing idly bye while they fly off the cliff.
"Hello, Blizzard!! That's a Giant Cliff right there, you're going to have to slow down and turn around!" HELLO!

There would have been, if they hadn't cancelled Blizzcon that year! You know, the year that everyone at Blizzcon would have been carrying a torch and pitch fork, looking for Jay Wilson, after the Diablo 3 fiasco! ;)
First, it was BfA.
Next, Diablo: Chinese Mobile Edition
..and now they're already tampering with the vanilla formula.
Activision finally killed off any soul that was left inside Blizzard.
F
It's heartbreaking that my relationship with Blizzard used to be excited enthusiasm for their products, and now it's adversarial skepticism.
What a mess.
Cata was a dumpster fire.
At least back then i could still see people on my server outside of the main cities.
Oh shut up.

Really. Retail WoW is trash, and has been for years, hence, we are getting Classic. If you are a current retail subscription holder, then you are also the problem. Retail WoW can’t be fixed and is garbage.
This Blizzcon has not only made me question the small amount of faith or hope I have for Blizzard. It has made me question the entire video game industry. Like, what the actual hell happened to video games? Why is something meant for fun, creativity, and happiness so plagued with corruption and greed?
Sorry, but unless something major happens you are stuck with a team who thinks messing with vanilla's formula, making HotS original characters, mobile blizzard games, etc. actually make some kind of sense.
Blizzard is now ran by a team who would watch "Easy Rider" and be motivated to go out and buy a moped and cruise w/ their little scooter helmet on.
They are just kinda clueless.

Us getting Classic has nothing at all to do with whether anyone thinks Current WoW is bad or not.

Nearly literally this apart from WC3.
It looked dreadful.

If people wait until close to summer to complain (Beta?), it will be far too late to change course on anything.
The issue is that people know what Blizzard's modus operandi is by now. Blizzard will always say, "Give us an inch. That's all we're asking for. Trust us!" And when people reluctantly give Blizzard that inch, it quickly turns into a mile. People are getting irate about small deviations from Vanilla now because they know Blizzard will use resigned acceptance of them as justification for even bigger changes down the line
if those changes will increase their profit margin, authenticity be damned. Yes, that sounds very cynical, but that's the way the corporate world works these days (speaking from experience).
If Blizzard isn't going to replicate Vanilla WoW with Classic as accurately as is technically possible, what is the point of it really? Its (supposed) target market won't be satisfied with the end product, and private servers (I don't play them) that offer a more accurate Vanilla replication will continue to thrive, defeating the entire purpose.

Nope. Not subscribed. Don't own BFA. I've heard the levelling is godawful, though.
This problem we are seeing with our beloved Blizzard franchise(s) is just the tip of a much bigger iceberg of problems with the entire video game industry.
It's not as simple as WoW's levelling sucks now. It's slowly turning into "video games suck". Seriously, how many times do you see someone say something like "I'm not excited about any games this year" or "it's just the same crap".
I know to an extent it's us gamers being jaded, but it's also on the developers.
•The developers are pushed to meet deadlines instead of quality standards.
•They're playing it safe using sequels to established franchises, or even remasters to be even safer.
•Developers are uninspired and misled by stupid market research focused on money instead of fun.
The best thing that could happen to video games would be some sort of tool that allows people with little to no programming skills or graphic design skills make games that are actually high quality. Like imagine a fun video game and it makes it for you exactly (or very closely) as you imagine it. I know that's some kind of Futurama stuff, but is it
impossible?
