Epic BGs need help as people are exploiting and making the epic BG experience miserable for everyone else in the process.

Please help us Blizzard!

Hi everyone. I think it’s important to keep the discussion rolling so I’m making this thread to talk about how hidden addon abuse is allowing mass griefing of players.

I run a ton of epic BGs and this just isn’t the case. There’s always a couple afk in any group of 40 but when I look at the map and the stats most people are actively participating.

I think the bigger problem is that Epic BGs revolve around winning the first fight, and oftentimes it’s a slow, agonizing wait for the other side to win as people either desperately try to play catch up, or just up and bail and eat the 15, as the game will often take longer than that.

They’re broken by design. Premades are the least of their problems.

ITT: everything sucks so why bother?

Blizzard has been and continues to be horribly negligent about BGs and unless you harass them about it, youre not foing to get changes.

We get X dungeons and 3 raids an expansion. We went 6 yeara without a new battleground. Thats 3 expansions. Its insane.

I just don’t find them fun, it’s a race to the end and done for most of them. At least AV back in the day felt like it had PvP going on within the PvE framework of it’s objectives.

I really enjoy BGs especially AV, but when there is a premade, it ruins the experience completely.

It does affect me, maybe not your specific issue, but epic bgs in general. They were fun at one point and now they’re a wait 20-30 min for the queue to pop and most of them over in a few minutes.

I love casual pvp, but with how they are now, it’s barely pvp.

1. New players
2. I knew the developers knew how they worked; that it existed.

I have been playing rogue and it feels like pvp is much easier to find in epics.
