The skill is an insane dot stack for about the same cost and better damage than Shadowstrike plus it benefits from all positives on shadowstrike.

One is a Sinister strike with a stacking DoT. The other is a weak Stealth exclusive teleport Ambush.
What do they have in common besides being glove runes?

Idk how an ability is overtuned if it’s better to press sinister strike outside of keeping the dot rolling.

cause its not tf lol sure on baron and non bleeds you can just backstab spam or shadow strike spam but saber benefits from lethality and improved sinister strike. You’re griefing if you actually use that outside of max stacks unless you’re popping slice n dice

Sinister does more on hit damage than Saber. You only hit Saber to keep up the bleed.
like you have any clue the top parse for BFD on rogue #1 Alena use only saberlash 110 casts over 5 casts on shadow strike LOL

idk how yall thought the complaint was regarding raiding or PvE, Saberslash is just overtuned for PvP but I should have clarified that more than likely rogues will have to play subtlety and combat without poisons especially tanks and makes sense with all the new runes focused around shuriken ranged ect. I mean theres a few poison focused ones but you get where im coming from
It’s not overturned at all. Not even close. Maybe the other skills rogues have are under-tuned

Looking at top DPS parses for Rogues, I don’t see any of them casting Sinister Strike much. The number of casts is 20-30 to 1 on most top parses, which makes me wonder what circumstances they’re using Sinister Strike in. Almost seems like they hit the button by accident sometimes based on the numbers.
Id trade it for Shadow Dance.
it is a very minor dps increase to use SS if you have 3 stacks of the bleed up already
but like… so minor most people (even those with very high parses) dont bother and just spam saber slash if the target can bleed
next phase we will all be dagger anyways and half the raid is mechanical, so it wont really matter
When you just refreshed Saber Slash and can hit Sinister Strike to greed a bit of damage without fear of Saber Slash stacks falling off.
other skills agree but if you see how much damage it propagates compared to the rest especially dead brew, its just to high at 3 stacks but maybe cause we’re still 25 and some scaling hasnt kick in as much it might fall off? we’ll have to see but I have a feeling we’ll still be crutching on saberslash in PvP
