Maybe because almost every single MMO out there has cat people… heck even SWtOR had cat people. I cant remember if we ever see a cat person in a Star Wars Movie.
Not sayin we need cat people but its odd how prevalent the theme of cat people is.

Foxes are part of the vulpes, and wolves and dogs are separated into canis lupus and canis lupus familiaris respectively.
