Saberon as a potential Allied Race

By the time we recruit them they could be very intelligent. There was the one who was enlightened by Apexis Crystals. If other Saberon did the same thing, and then joined the Draenei when Yrel went Deus Vult, then they could be quite interesting indeed.

I’d be up for playing a Saberon Paladin.

Void belves say Hi!

Even though they are wild, so are sauroks, and yet we see them acting in freehold alongside other races like quilboars, humans and vulperas, even!

Showing that they can be social enough to be recruited by others, just like gnolls, who while not considered very intelligent, are no less savage or savvy than sabons!

In the draenor garrison, I remember we recruited at least 3 of them!

And if the devs want to, saberon even makes an opera!

I don’t know if we can wait for saberons in the future, but it just depends on the willingness of devs to create more race options in the game for players to use!

Diversity is good!

I don’t want them to make another time travel to WoD alternate timeline just to justify a Allied Race, they made this with the Ma’ghar which was ok because people wanted to play uncorrupted brown Orcs for a long time and they would make sense in one faction (Horde), but Saberon? Nah.

Dont forget, Saberon teleported with the iron horde to our timeline. They ran off into the plains after.

I’d settle for one just to see what’s really going on in the AU with the Draenei. The Orc perspective is obviously biased.

We may not necessarily go back to AU Draenor to recruit Saberon. Some did come with the Mag’Har and ran off when they were ported to our Azeroth. I’m curious if that will tie into it, assuming Saberon do become an allied race.

Even if it doesn’t seem like many came with the Mag’har, there are a lot of Mag’har in the world with all sorts of Draenor creatures being used in BfA WQ’s, so it isn’t impossible that enough Saberon came and formed their own tribe to live in the Barrens or so.

Will be interesting to see what their story is, again if they do indeed become an allied race.

TBH, I think they did that more to plant the Yrel gone bad seed, because they could have gotten Outland Mag’har instead.

But to the point in hand, I think somewhere it was hinted that some Saberon and others made it across at the same time as the Mag’har. I don’t have the source though.

To be honest, i don’t understand the obsession people have with feral and ugly races that would require a lot of work from the developers to work and almost nobody would play or even main.

Void Elves at least are based on High Elves and are led by Alleria. Name me a prominent Saberon.

I mean, I could see them being the Worgen Allied Race. Only because I can’t think of anything else that uses the model that fits the current BFA AR trend.

Because it makes the world more immersive than seeing everyone as a cute petite elf.

Void belves are based in Blood elves!

Blood Elves are High Elves. So are Void Elves. They’re just different flavorings of the same race. Alleria is a major hero in the game. And you still haven’t named me a major Saberon character that would lead this race.

For me it would be immersion breaking to see a savage and naked Tiger man walking around Stormwind.

Judging by the interests of this community, without a shadow of a doubt, I am sure Saberon would be a popular race selected.

But the naked Worgen and the little elf warrior in her thong doesn’t? Ok.

Had to look him up to get his name right. Leorajh

A mere follower. I was waiting for him to get posted. I’m hyped for this nobody.

Know who else is a, ‘mere follower?’ Shandris. Umbric. Not to count all of the followers in the class halls. Mages literally had members of the Council of Six as their followers.

Falstad Wildhammer would have been a better counter.

Yeah but Shandris is more relevant given Naz’jatar.
