Blizzard, if you shoehorn that twerp Wrathion into the role of Aspect, I will lose it.
The less ties prominent lore figures have to Blanduin and Cringelliance*, the better. *I mean Aspects shouldn’t really favour one side over the other anyway.
Sabellian is the trueborn son of Neltharion, he cares about the survival and interests of his flight, he’s been in the game for 15 IRL years now and has the gravitas and pedigree to become a major player.
Post if you support Sabellian as the Black Dragonflight Aspect.
Sabellian my beloved. Now he is an aspect I can get behind! Wrathion is… erm, not aspect material I feel. (I see him as doing his own thing and being “free”)
The thing is, Aspects protect the planet, not their flights. Sabellian literally has no experience at this, while Wrathion has occasionally stepped up to help. Sabellian on the other hand helped Deathwing conquer the planet a bit then left when shocked Pikachu face Neltharian turned out to be evil and corrupted all along.
And while Sabellian IS considered a good leader by his followers, he clearly has a problem with dealing with other dragons outside of his usual circles and generally seems impatient with younger individuals, both Wrathion and Sabellian have their pros and cons, Sabellian’s are just less pronounced.
Sabellian in his advanced age and experience would be a good ADVISOR but not necessarily a good aspect, at the same time becoming an aspect could be exactly the experience Wrathion needs to grow as a person and learn some constraint.
Keep in mind that Sabellian would likely chafe under the literal weight of the planet if dealing with one slightly impulsive Wrathion is enough to test his patience and sanity.
Speaking of which, there’s always a third possibility that BOTH become equal holders of the aspect power, since it seems fairly hard to shoulder by one individual, perhaps they will find a way to split the power and channel it into two individuals.
