My Frost DK isn’t my main; lately I play a Priest mostly, and I don’t keep up on the class as much as I should. I’m just wondering if I’m completely missing something.
My Season 3 tier pieces are a mixture of Hero/Mythic-level. They sim substantially higher on DPS than Champion-level Season 4 tier, despite being 20 ilvls lower than the new stuff.
If this is correct, and I’m not just missing something, then Blizzard is basically saying, “Don’t enjoy any new tier gear until you’re raiding Heroic (or doing the equivalent in M+).”
Leaving aside the downer aspect of that, it’s a bit of a Catch-22, since one of the points of lower-level content is to gear up for higher-level content.
Am I just missing something?
