Correct, but this is because the lull in content would have been the same and those same sets would have been offered because they did this last expansion and explained tagging in season 3 and 4 together was part of the practice.

Season 3 and 4 being lumped together for PvP is nothing new. They did it last expansion too.

Exactly. It is time-sensitive regardless. We have never had a season like this before with any sort of vote and the lack of clarity on PVP sets has made this awkward. A lot of us just want clarity from a Blue.

There is no difference in s3 & 4 being combined and s1 set being provided during s4. It’s 2 seasons worth of time to earn an elite set.

If they had a 2x length s1 the people who didn’t earn it in s1 would have the same amount of time.

Blizzard posted a thread to vote for another “season” of gear.

I cannot identify anything ‘official’ as there is nothing official announced with regards to S4 PVP (specifically PVP) set appearances within any of the official posts.

All we can do is wait and see. :pray: It would certainly provide some closure for folks.

Last expansions previous didn’t have a vote, and the vote didn’t say “PvE sets only (PVPers get nothing, don’t even vote, this isn’t a thread for you)”

Like, I’m clearly not a pvper, but an absolute massive amount of votes on that were hoping for the return of the pvp stuff. Player expectation was pretty clear that the honour set and the elite set would also be changed

Except it’s not because season 4 is a joke season brought into the game to give people some form of flavored content because historically, it would have been a 12 month gap with no content again. Season 3 and 4 being lumped into together is just them providing an in between where people have a reason to do more PvE. And they offer a new glad mount / tabard / enchant.

Again, this is not new. They did it last expansion. People would have an argument if the word “recolor” was thrown around by Blizzard. It wasn’t. Expecting elite sets to return when they never have is out of the norm and silly.

it also didn’t help that wowhead used the photo of the elite sets and blizzard didn’t chime in and say hey pvpers, don’t think you’ll get this. It’s only for pve
