S4 Elite PVP Set - Not Updated to Reflect Winning Tier

This was a season of voting, that’s just wild that they would create this vote and make it irrelevant for PvP in terms of tmog.

The token from 1600 gives you a non elite version of the vote appearance

Thanks for helping lead the charge! Let’s get some attention here

They’ve used the same set multiple seasons in a row but they’ve never brought back a previous seasons set that was retired. I’m not arguing against you guys, I’m just not surprised they didn’t apply it to the PvP sets especially the elite tints.

A lot of people thought voting meant we were going to get recolors for this season as well but that didn’t happen either. Blizzard’s communication has been pretty terrible across the board about this patch.

Bump. Whatever the decision is, I would like to request a confirmation please.

I’m confused. Weren’t the polls exclusively for tier sets? I don’t remember voting for PvP sets?

I agree, this should be applied to all sets including PVE and PVP

With what? I asked a question. Or are you just trolling?

Tier does not equal PvP. Tier is raid sets. So unless I voted for PvP somewhere there were no changes to PvP, as far as I know.

Whether or not gear from previous seasons SHOULD or SHOULD NOT be made obtainable again, is NOT the topic of this thread.

The issue at hand stems from Blizzard’s misleading communication. Many people (a number larger than 0) voted in the polls thinking PvP gear was under that umbrella – I’m 100% certain some people boosted characters with actual real-world money because they thought certain sets would be obtainable again this season and are just now finding out that they’re not.

this is why its wrong to assume anything and instead wait and see

This is basically like how it was for SL but the community got to vote for the PVE tier. It was confusing on Blizzard’s case but the WoW article didn’t help with showing all six tints. It sucks people thought the previous seasons were coming back for another round but it was always a feeling of PVE on the poll. Blizzard should have made that clear.

It doesn’t? What’s pvp set called then?

AFAIK we voted for Tier bonuses and Tier apperances.

I think the biggest problem is the lack of clarity when voting. Gear is gear this expansion and pvp gear just has pvp ilvl so one would assume the tier vote counted for all applicable tier gear.

I am honestly feeling paralyzed by this, my goals to play S4 were all based on elite sets returning.

I don’t know what to play now that there isn’t a blue post confirming if this will be looked at, or if it was meant to work like this.

At least say something Blizz please :sob:

The lack of communication has been insane, the poll results would of been so much different had they clarified if the winning set would get a recolor or get their elite set reintroduced.

Lol so the votes ultimately meant nothing?

I PvP only so I voted based on what I wanted for our visual sets for PvP in S4.

if blizz hasnt fixed it the moment the released season 4, cuz its a pretty big MISTAKE if it is

Are you sure this list is accurate? The hunter winning appearance for example was season 1’s (and is correctly reflected in the appearances we see in-game for the season 4 set). In this case, the PvP set would be a mismatch.

I stand corrected on the hunter set per the posted results from the first post in the thread. Thank you for catching this!!

Can you clarify what you mean? On my hunter I’m seeing the Elite set as Season 3s set for both S3 and S4…And that set is different than S1 it’s S3’s elite set. Unless that is the set hunters voted for? But you said the winning vote was S1s set.
