They said “season gear” or “season set”

and pvp sets are indeed part of the season.

I’m already satisfied with the results. But I think there is enough evidence that blizzard wasn’t clear in their wording and they could have communicated things better.

Because the PvP community threw a fit when Blizzard was going to bring back old elite sets, so Blizzard no longer does that.

As a transmog collector who happens to be enjoying PvP, and who missed a previous DF season, I saw the voting a great opportunity to catch up for certain classes. I thought this was just a bug but I became pretty disappointed knowing PvP sets were not considered from the ticket replies. Looking from another angle, although s4 sets are remixes of previous ones, they are still unique and could be treated as “new” sets. So fundamentally, they can be s4 sets, just like s1-s3. So every class can have all PvE and PvP sets per voting results. This will greatly improve the overall tier sets consistancy, leave no gap between PvE and PvP, and solve the token issue (answering why token PvP gears are per voting results). I am not sure if it is still fixable for this season, but I strongly hope so because I believe Blizz has all the talents to make it work, it may be just the matter of willingness/priority. And for future end of patch seasons, if the voting is gonna continue, I hope PvP tier sets are considered.

I would like to see this as well. Historically, Blizzard hasn’t done that to appease the PvP community, but changing their stance would be a good change.

It is now friday, no blue posts nor comments about it on social media.

I imagine it would be pretty safe to simply imagine this bug won’t be fixed before DF ends. What a shame, they ended Shadowlands S4 with a really good event, and DF excellent expansion to leave it end on such a sad note with this bug.

There is no bug to fix, though. Dragonflight Season 3 and 4 PvP sets is what it reads. You can disagree with how they handle Elite sets and PvP rewards, but that doesn’t make it a bug.

Yes, but that does not mean that there is a bug. Blizzard chose not to bring back old elite sets, which they have stood by for quite a while.
