I was told Season 2 PvP Gear was discounted a few weeks before Season 3 PvP Gear Season launched. (I wasn’t playing then) I was told that the same thing was going to be happening with the Season 3 PvP Gear before the Season 4 Launch. Is there any confirmation on this? Or idea of time framing or accuracy behind what I was told?
The gear will probably be discounted the week between S3 ended and S4 starts.
That is how it’s has been the past two season intermissions.

Do we have a date where S3 ends? If not, a general idea/estimate?
Yeah. I was just wondering if there was confirmation this was going to happen again. If it happened in Season 1 and in Season 2, then I assume that answers my question that I don’t know why it wouldn’t happen for this Season 3 as well. So, appreciate it 
I guess it’s going to be more of a ‘when’ haha. And I’m not sure how long this Season will be lasting, so I’ll just keep saving!

Just going on assumptions at the moment.
There was not a confirmation on either of those discounts until we actually logged in after the season ended to find out it was discounted, so probably won’t be one for S3 gear sadly.
The end of season also usually is communicated 1-2 weeks before the end of season.

I’d imagine it’ll hit with Sunwell/P5. Since that’s in the PTR, I’d say sometime within the next 2-4 weeks.
the time period between s3 end and s4 will be the time you will be able to use your remaining arena points of season 3
season 3 gear will cost half arena points as they cost now from that point on,but you wont have your arena points from season 3 anymore.
dont buy s3 offsets even if it is half price, first week of s4 new offsets will be available
at this point i advice to not buy any piece of gear anymore.
save points for that week between seasons.
Assumptions are good. PTR shows the same pattern as season 1 and season 2 ending. The S3 gear is half priced on nagrand / tanaris / netherstorm vendors and also their rating requirement taken off. So it’s a good guess happening once more.
No. Pretty much all previous seasons have ended 5 weeks after the next phase hit PTR.
Could be 4 weeks, but definitely not 2 lol.
Seeing how fast ZA went from PTR to live, I think we’ll likely see it sooner than later.
Why would you compare a ten man nothing raid to a major content release? It’ll be a month at least.

Personally feels a bit rushed.
So points dont reset until season 4 starts, but we can use the arena points from season 3 inbetween season 3 ending and 4 starting for 50% off?
It’s discounted on PTR. hopefully it is on live when season ends.

That’s a huge point I didn’t think about. Thanks Leo! I’ve been stockpiling all my honor and BG tokens thinking I would just full buy all of S3 stuff… maybe doing S4 instead makes more sense!
I was told 50%. I’m not sure if that’s accurate though. I saw 15% in other places. Discounted is discounted, but I would like to figure it out LOL
