I need some help with Sims

I just did a raidbots sim on this toon and it’s saying the S2 tier set is mostly a downgrade until it’s high item level

Did I do the sim wrong for delving?

I don’t play m+ or raids so I want setup for delves.

Any help would be much appreciated thank you in advance.

Droptimizer sims don’t combine the items listed, they sim each one individually.

is there a way to do a proper sim of the tier set for s2?

Do I need to manually add each piece in to the desktop version and sim that way or something?

You would need to manually add each item using https://www.raidbots.com/simbot/gear

However I can tell you point blank it’s correct to break old 4piece for new 2piece, even without accounting for the increase in ilvl.

ok I reran it with S2 tier pcs put in.
Did I do it better this time?

The 4 piece is well worth it, even if some of the pieces are from LFR.

I just spent the last hour simming things and came up with pretty much the same thing

I’m thinking
Crafted things first
weapons first (sim said main+off hand was going to be best combo)
Neck
Ring

Then clothes

Catalyst charges on hero pcs for 4pc set Chest, Head, gloves, Shoulders in no particular order. As I get them really. I have 1 charge rn so if I get lucky and get 2 usable hero pcs this week I can get my 2pc

item level upgrades to hero track stuff when not spending it all on crafted things.

Staff is exactly the same it just costs half as many crests. The only reason to make a 1h or an offhand is that you’ve got an actual myth track of the other.

hmm, the sims I ran had it at 10k DPS difference.

tiered now so I’ll see what Id id wrtong tomorrow.

I kinda figured it would be the same DPS cuz crafted, but if the staff costs less crests and I might make it instead. I like the main/off hand transmogs so I can always put it at the end of the list for later in the season

Remember that we’re doing 2+ million DPS at this point. 10k is at most 0.5% which is pretty much within error margins for a sim like that.

Is the tier bugged or is the proc extremely infrequent?

1.5 procs per minute hasted. So one every idk 40 seconds ish.
