S2 Elite PvP Sets

I just took a look at what the elite sets will look like for next season. Very purple all around.

More pirate gear for rogues… :dracthyr_hehe_animated:
Monk looks pretty sick.
Druid is… cool I guess? Skeletal doesn’t feel druidic.
Paladin looks like they wanted to be a warrior but fell into the shadow realm.

DK, Sham and Mage all have really insane sets, wish I played those classes.

angry drust noises

Mage set looks like something you discover in the back of the freezer after remembering you put it there 2 years ago.

I’m all for it for the Kul’Tirans, but I’m a worgen and I haven’t felt that any transmog has actually fit for a worgen druid. Not even the worgen race set or the “gilnean noble.” The closest I’ve felt to having a real mog for feral worgen has been this season’s pvp (both elite and non-elite), MoP heroic throne rogue look-a-like, and being basically naked with different worgen skin colors. Everything else feels like balance/resto or night elf themed.

This sucks for me more than most probably. Purple is one of my least favorite colors. Crown Royal is the only thing in the world that purple works for.

Not hating on the color, just comes off as really feminine imo, which is the opposite of the class fantasy I’m going for.

Another L Blizzard move as usual :frowning:

Most if not all of them look pretty cool, but ya, extremely purple

Huh. Are those colors confirmed elite? Seemed like white was gonna be elite for monk before, and it looks nicer…

Idk, I’m basically just taking a Reddit post at face value

I compared Zerved’s linked set to the one from the preview of S2 on the blizzard page and they look identical so I’m gonna say yes confirmed elite colors. Un4ch.

Most sets are amazing, not much to complain

Thats the issue with certain classes tied so closely to a races theme. Tauren paladins look terrible in most paladin tier sets because they don’t work with the tribal look Tauren look best in. Same for non horde shamans, and non night elf druids.

This is life correcting itself. A paladin , its aesthetic effects soundd and entire look comes from our azerothian paladins from the alliance of old. Ofcourse fake cringe race added later doesnt fit the theme and never will

Dang Christtel  I’m not sure if I want to know how you feel about worgen druids

I agree with you 100%

I dont mind worgen druids. Not entirely out of the realm. Blizzard did an ok job with the whole curse wild god thing.

But there are some race class combinations that irk me, tauren / trol paladin, goblin shaman, tauren rogue, draenei warlock, even kultiran shaman doesnt really sit right with me. Oh right almost forgot, the entire vulpera race just delete it from the game.

gonna disagree with u there chief. draenei lock with the manari skins is the best in game

Priest sets have been fire for a while now. Straight up looks like Raiden.

Monk is gonna look awesome on some races too, rogue looks great. Mage has some pieces that will look cool when used, but overall wayyy too much crystal going on. Looks like one of those kits you got as a kid to grow crystals in a container.

Every time I look at new tier sets, I’m also reminded how stupid evokers look.

Idea:
An in-game armor decal/paint suite attached to the transmog menu so we can put anime girls on our gear like you can with cars in Forza

I just didnt find it fitting for the prime race that was hunted down by the legion/fel for millenia o ever even consider using it. Could have relaased manari allied race or whatever.
