Blizz literally “nerfs” classes but they still outperform almost every other class in the game. locks and DHs are the perfect example. Then you have nerfs rolled over from SL like arms d stance which was nerfed because of ignore pain and what a surprise they dont have it in DF but its still nerfed. Fire mages get dispel protection because its to easy to outplay them but sin rogues goes with deathmark can be removed by half the game. Balancing is completely trash especially with this dmg modifier stack meta. Lets not forget how trash ranked SS is being able to get 0 pts or lose pts with 3-5 round wins on top of 30min-1hr+ ques where rage quitting is an almost every other game occurrence.

Eh rmx is more than fine sub and assa pump and every mage spec does too besides fire. I do agree though season 1 has not been fun what’s so ever between dhs drooling on their keyboards killing you and sp/demo being nuts.
Day ONE, all R1 Gladiator streamers used the Wpvp gear exploit to get full purples, by the end of the day they had 2400cr plus. Next day they nerfed Assassin rogues a huge amount.

I don’t think it’s even gonna get better either.
They couldn’t even balance the game with half the current abilities/modifiers but now think they can do it with double the bloat.
I’ve seen streamers who typically are enjoying the game start to rage and become toxic after playing SS especially because it shows how imbalanced and degen the PvP scene has become.
Sin isnt nearly as broken and atlest 3-4 of the other meta specs like lock, dh, fury who can pump dmg and maintain stupid levels of self healing. They also have cds that have swap potential pressure and cant be dropped or easily countered by a racial or 30 sec cd.

that did happen!!! Blizz took the gear back but they kept ratings and goodies. Was time gated gear, they was not supposed to have anyway.
Nobody actually pushed any relevant amount of rating. I’d ask for the Xunamate history of anybody who got 2500 day one and has been sitting since but I don’t imagine you’d know what I’m talking about.

That gear was removed the following day. R1’s would also be playing each other so it’s likely, if they did abuse this, they would be playing against people with the exact same gear pushing the same rating. So that point is moot.
The reason those top players got 2400 so quick is because they all spam queue and queue into each other. That’s how inflation works: inflation = number of games played on the ladder along with high MMR to carry your CR to your MMR.
