Ryzen boost fixes

New BIOS fixes seems to allow full advertised boosts. Mobo quality and heat mattered before. Let’s see how much they matter afterwards.

Good job to the community forcing these companies to be honest.

Inb4 fake scores :rofl:

9900k at 5.1 GHz scores a bit lower than that , and only top 5% can achieve that based on silicon lottery

Intel sucks too.

Long live SPARC

Jokes aside, people are getting upwards of 10% perf increases depending on workload with newest Ryzen fixes. We’ll have to re-test to see where Intel and AMD land with their chips.

I remember the SPARC, those systems were SLOWWWWWWWWWW A.S.F we called them SUN SLOWARIS systems cause they just blew.

SPARC was slower because it was designed for a multi-user environment. All these short cuts AMD and Intel took on x86 is coming to light as we move into the cloud.

We have to spend about 30% more to keep the same performance we have today in a datacenter just from security patches alone.

SPARC = servers
x86 = workstations/desktops
