It has been a whole week and these people are still on like the 3rd boss?
Us normal people are going to have to wait a month before any balance changes. Blizzard just needs to nerf that raid ASAP

They do this intentionally, RWF teams do heroic splits and M+ for most of the week to maximize ilvl then do the mythic raid push in the last few days.
People are expecting Sofo 2.0 unless the last 2 bosses aren’t as ugly as we think they will be based on 4th boss tuning.
No more 4/8M pugs though.
Any bosses that need obvious tuning will probably get nerfed immediately after the major teams clear them. They’re almost certainly going to nerf Stix because he’s barely achievable with very specific raid comps and overall min/maxing.
The race itself probably won’t take a whole month so youwon’t have to wait a month for nerfs, but if you were going to clear mythic raid any sooner than that then why aren’t YOU in the race?
They should just give all the bosses 1hp so that I can go in and press a button and the boss dies wow why don’t I work for the design team
I wasn’t really thinking about raid balance, I was thinking about class balance.
Blizzard has a habit of not making class balance changes until the RWF is over(Unless something is bugged).
I just want my Holy Paladin buffs D:
The big three have killed 4. Stix and are on to 5. Sprocket. Echo is in the lead having Sprocket down to about 27%. The delay is caused by having to do splits to pick up gear and M+ for valorstones.
Ah, well if things go well the race will be done this weekend, but I guess we’ll see.
Looks like “the real race” begins tomorrow and continuing into Tuesday or so, gonna be a fun weekend seeing the finish line

honestly with ion being the one to figure out cthun was literally impossible pre-nerf back in vanilla you’d think he’d have his team design raids that the best players could… ya know… actually beat
So far they can, barely. A couple of the fights have been just shy of mathematically impossible for the 1st and 2nd week of the season, but as things go on and more “regular” players get more gear and raid buffs, they will become much more reasonable even without any nerfs.
Bro, the race is already done, Gally got QUALITY ASSURE’D like four times now.
I mean they’re on the last boss. The raid just isn’t designed to be beaten in 2 weeks by normal means. It takes a lot of prep and setup early on by players which makes it look like they’re spending longer / struggling more than they are.
Not to mention they’re doing this at 663~ ilvl. When the player ilvl will eventually go up to 678.
7/8 for liquid
but like said above he got killed 4 times already was exploit but was still killed
As far as I’m concerned, they’re the real winners here.
Anyone else, well, it’s not a real world first, now is it?
What’s funny is QA got it, twice.
This is Race for World Third/Fourth/Fifth
Race to World Fifth hype, LET’S GOOOO!
oh honey
don’t make the state of hpal even sadder by thinking they’ll be fixed next week.
No they are not. If you hack the system and cheat you don’t get the win. It’s like the athletes who get caught doping at the Olympics, they don’t get to keep any medals they won.
It could be worse , it used to take months to clear some raids before. Some bosses seeing upwards of 400+ attempts before being downed.
Yeah but if you hated the Olympics and wanted it to fail you’d cheer the dopers because they de-legitimise the competition as a whole and stir more discussion regarding it’s removal / irrelevance for the average person.
