RWF Exploitation for Spellslinger Hero talents

I posted this in general, I’ll just copy and paste what I said there. There is a bug with the spellslinger hero talents that allows the buff to stack above 8 if you don’t target bosses. I don’t know exactly how to do it, but Limit has been banning anyone from their chats that even say the world spellslinger.

"I thought the World’s First race was supposed to be a competitive race, limit is knowingly cheating right now by exploiting a bug with the spellslinger hero talents for mages. You can’t even say “spellslinger” in their chat without being auto banned. Every boss they down, or have downed should have an asterisk beside them, as the whole raid group is knowingly cheating, and trying to keep it silent. I don’t see how this has been allowed to go on this long tbh.

Does anyone else feel that it ruins the spirit of competition, when you actively cheat to get ahead? We all know which mage is doing the exploiting, I won’t say his name, but he’s the most famous one and has fire in his name. Really hope to see a ban(maybe for the whole raid) before the RWF race is over. I have a feeling blizzard will let it slide though, because they bring in viewers and money to the game. Is it right though?"

I don’t know too much about mages right now. What does going beyond those stacks do?

It makes splinterstorm do insane damage, as the damage is increased per stack. When you have 200-400 stacks, it does multiple tens of millions of damage more than it would. The stacks cap at 8

It does occur to me that they’re logging the entire thing and most of them are also streaming the entire thing. If something is hitting for 10,000,000 when it should be hitting for 2,000,000 then blizzard will know.

They probably auto-modded it because people are being annoying. Liquid is in direct contact with blizzard, the race is being streamed, if it was really an exploit something would have been said/done pretty quickly.
