RWF boring zzzz

it’s very funny that wow keeps wanting to make an event out of the World First Raid Race while also making systems where the optimal thing for the raiders to do the first few days is run ten thousand alts through the lower tier raids to decide who runs the real raid

Blizz woke up way too late, RWF has been boring for a LONG while now.

Blizzard have nothing to do with the RWF , never have & never will.

They don’t even endorse it letalone advertise it or run it.

I mean when you post about it in the forums… And when it’s in the feed for your application launcher… I’d call that advertising

The race was really fun to watch when they had heroic week, to do copious amounts of degenerate splits, then when Mythic Difficulty became active the following week the guilds went in there and just slammed. That was fun, because the week before was just build up. Then the race felt like a race.

Releasing all difficulties just makes it harder on everyone to participate. And without a week to do splits, really only Echo and Liquid have the resources to do the super degenerate splits.

If there is a way to get 0.5% extra dps, people will find a way. Raiders of that play RFW do anything to do that much more damage and aslong as this game has been around, they will continue to find new ways to do it.

They level multiple alts this tier, to run the normal mode multiple times amd depedning on what drops, funnel loot to specific raiders so they do more damage. If a run drops more plate gear, then the plate wearing class in thst raid gets feed, rinse and repeat depending on drops. This way all loot goes where it will bring the biggest bang for the buck.

ICC it was rogues theorycrafting that engineerin grenades was worth the global for more dps…so they did it. That was funny drama.

Legion it was have an army of alts, see which had better rng on legendary drops and played the one with the best.

People will find a way to do more.

I enjoy it, i love the thoeryceafting and you get to see it go in full force. We know which stats our character likes, but do you know why? Why do break points exist? What is the best way to do your opener? Why is that the best way? Why does one talent point beat out another? Why did you choose thst trinket?

We make so many choices when we build our toons, we make choices on how we play and how we do damage/healing. Putting that under a microscope can be fun!

As a healer main, progression healing is my jam. Watching RWF timing and how they overcome challenges is cool.

I see Damage A, i would call for Ability A to overcome, but they are not. Why? Oh, timing for Damage B means personal CDs wont be up again, so calling for Personal CDs from the raid for Damage A means Ability A can be used to counter damage B.
Honestly, stuff like that is intriguing.
