Pretty much all there is. Rustfeather doesn’t have a rare tag, so addons like Rarescanner or NPCScan don’t pick them up and notify players of the spawn.

After you kill it once that day it won’t show it. Also, other mods i have show it up just fine. Using TomTom myself.
How do you have a version of NPCScan that knows anything about 8.2 rares (or zones, even)?
It hasn’t been updated since last September and folks are having to patch in final rare mob lists for Darkshore.
NPCScan isn’t reporting 8.2 mobs for reasons that have nothing to do with WoW.
Silver Dragon is updated for all the new rares!
When you kill him, the Rare tag is removed for that day. He definitely has the Rare tag as I just killed him, and RareScanner works just fine for him.
He also wont have the rare tag marker IF you haven’t completed the intro story like flying an alt out there. my 2 toons who have completed the intro see the marker the ones who haven’t do not.
I have the same issue with rustfeather. I have completed the mechagon quest “Welcome to the Resistance” and verified it was registered as completed with a macro so that is not the issue. Its not just the addon scanner, when i fought rustfeather today it was not a rare elite. I had not killed it yet for the day.
EDIT: Went back the next day after killing it for the first time and it now spawns as a rare elite
Does anybody know if you have to complete the questline on alts as well? Could this be an issue? Arachnoid shows up as a rare elite for alts that haven’t completed the questline tho is the weird thing…
