So there’s never been a consistent fix for this as far as I can find online or experiment with in game.
I did everything up to the Mechagon instance, and Rustbolt is on fire. That was months ago. I gave up. Since the housing update though I’ve been trying to get the mechagon equipment. So I try to go back. For some reason the quest to revive the High Tinker was back in Kul Tiras. So I go do all that. Rustbolt is back to normal. I do all the quests. Come back this morning; Rustbolt is BACK on fire and no dailies are available.
What do I do!?
Update: Logged into my first character that properly did everything in order. Rescue the High Tinker. Do the quests. Mechagon. Free the Gnomes. After playing catch up (last time I played him was before TWW so he’s still 70) I see Rustbolt STILL on fire.
