I noticed that it takes a lot longer for me to re-stealth after I have my bleeds on a target. It’s pretty bad in PvP. It takes me a good 10-15 secs after leaving combat to stealth again. There’s no problem as sub or outlaw.
I just noticed that my Bleeds also break my own stealth.
After further observation, I have to wait for Rupture to fully drop off target to leave combat and stealth. It’s very bugged because sometimes I can stealth back but the Rupture on a target will break my stealth without being attacked or being in combat.
Bug or intended, it shouldn’t be happening once I vanish and stealth out of combat. I literally kill myself in every pvp situation because I break my own stealth. Because of that I cannot play Assassination Rogue competitively in Arena, RBG, World PvP, BG’s, etc.
Most likely intended, this expansion has been heavy on keeping us sneaky sneaks from stealthing on purpose.
Many enemy pvp and pve abilities are aoe / unexpected aoe / intended to break stealth so we just cannot have team mates near us at all (shouldn’t be stacked anyway).
shroud was nuked from all the rogue complaining past few expansions (shadow sight on many things, even the open world). Stinks but not the worst deal, can always get worse.
crafting items interact with us rogues weirdly like incenses as an example (can slam them down to uncover people as well).
tier sets , it is what it is man. /shrug
We adapt and overcome, nobody is going to do us favors. Other classes revel when things are jacked up for us and we burn their houses down in return.
I have like 5 different bleeds as Sin. All of my other bleeds do NOT break stealth. It’s only Rupture. That makes no sense. The reason why they’re not addressing it is because 99% of rogues are playing Sub. If they all were playing Sin including devs then they would fix it immediately. But as long as FOTM is happy they ignore these things.
Alright man terrific rationalization. In this instance It’s the tier set and that’s it. It causes additional interactions as combat flags. Dunno it is what it is has nothing to do with bEcAusE dIFfeRenT sPeCiAliZatIOn.
Subtlety always has strong bleeds as it is a finisher and apart of our kit (should be available to outlaw too as an optional thing to do. In the end assassination has more of that focus but yeah.
I started playing my rogue again and just noticed this. I was destroying glaives in IOC and rupture broke my stealth after vanishing, twice. It’s hard to say if it’s actually intended. Bleeds doesn’t break Feral Druid stealth in combat on incarnation and shadowmeld. Druid bleeds are far stronger. what’s any different?
This has been annoying me greatly. Tried doing all sorts of things to work around it with nothing, and it happened before I got tier gear, so it’s something baseline.
