Running wow at minimal pc requirements

Hey, I’m looking to upgrade my graphics card from a Radeon RX 580 series to ASUS Dual NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050. Im using the website https://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri. Its telling me that the RTX 3050 is an upgrade to run wow at max, is this true?

Depending on your target framerate and resolution, the 3050 will have little to no trouble maintaining 60 frames at 1080p on max fidelity if that’s all you need.

WoW isn’t really a GPU intensive game. Upgrading your CPU is equally as important for this game, if not more so.

You can reduce your maximum framerate to however much you need, but it’s pretty bad at 8 or so frames per second. 20 fps is fine and 30 fps will be just like real life. WoW is a very good game for running smoothly and WoW classic is especially good at this. Almost any other AAA game being made today will require more computing power than WoW does.

If your gaming zt 1080p spend the extra 50-100 and get a 3060 esp now as they are going down in price.

Im glad i never kept my 3050 for my new rig, sent it back for 3080 for 4k gaming

few systems actually run this game at max 4k, those elemental raids will get you

Those trees and rocks outside of Orgrimmar must look amazing at 4k.

I game at 4k maxed out sittings even in raids and bgs…also turn on RT.

Honestly its nice and all but i wish the view distance was further and Id love an update to the older zones.

If you can, spend the extra money and play on the highest resolution and graphics settings you can budget for. In a game like WoW that people generally spend A LOT of time playing you want it to run and look great. Your eyes will thank you for it.
