We shouldn’t have to be phased out of this mini game the moment somebody else in the area in combat places everyone else in combat… Unable to complete the world quest, thanks to trolls in the area.

I’m having this same issue too. I worked for 15 minutes on the yellow runelocked quest only to have trolls randomly feeding mobs into people.
I dislike bejeweled. It’s not fun. It’s not skill based, It’s luck based. I’m likely going to be skipping these in the future.

I think the Yellow matches is a bug entirely, unless I’m reading it incorrectly. I did 5 matches in a row and then continued to play for a never ending amount of time. I’m currently stuck in it like purgatory. S.O.S.

what’s in the box anyway? I hate this quest.
Was able to escape from being put in combat, and tried again, and got it second move of that game, lol. I got a Brinestone Pickaxe to mine Brinestone in Naz’Jatar
+1 got knocked out of the game when someone pulled bunch of mobs and put me in combat. None of us had Warmode enabled so it is not PVP issue.
I was able to get this eventually but it is very annoying.

5 matches in a row isn’t right, it’s matching 5 yellow at once. Unless that’s a different WQ?

Why are we locked into this quest? The only way to abandon it is to Alt F4 the game. Even hearthing doesn’t work. WTH blizzard.

Theres a “buff” on your bar that you can click to get out of it… its actually a good way to slove it b/c you can start and stop until you get a decent starting board…
the 5 yellows is just stupid… especially when if you get 3 together it washes them away…
so the only way to do it is to get two yellows a random in the middle and then two more yellows… then try to get the fifth yellow in the middle.

This is so funny and ridiculous that I think it was someone’s left over April Fool’s joke. No, seriously.
My WQ says I need to destroy 20 orange runes. Fine. I’ve played match threes before and this shouldn’t be an issue.
Well, matching orange runes in lines of three doesn’t increase my score. So I try lines of four, nothing. Line of five, nothing. Horizontal, vertical - nothing. So, I check WoWHead.
Some people are reporting that the groups have to be horizontal, and vertical groups don’t count. Others report the opposite. Some people are having success with four, some with five. Some are saying you need to do yellow instead of orange as the quest says. What a complete and utter mess.
OK but here’s the great part. Get this. I go back to give it the ole college try, and one of the first moves I made was to match five blue runes horizontally. The screen cleared as if I won, and the runelocked chest was unlocked. I got some loot from inside.
But… the world quest never got any credit. As a matter of fact I still have the world quest, but now there’s no “Arcane Device” to try again. So, no rep for me. Or gold. Good times.
