Like seriously, what is this contraption? Jesus Christ, do you guys even play the game before you release it? You just want us to kill time on such stupidity don’t you. I am not paying 15$ a month to play a dumb mobile game on my PC!

Just so I’m clear, these issues are pertinent to this quest despite being a dumb one.

  1. The mobs closer to the chest aggro and they reset anyone who is already in the mini-game
  2. Change the description of the quest. I was doing triples of yellows as that’s pretty much the base criteria for such games (candy crush, bejeweled)
  3. To get 5 of any color in one row is nothing but sheer luck and big a waste of time for a world quest. I’d much rather take the tortolan or kirin tor quests over candy crush.

Edit 2:
The annoying quest is back again. How hard is it for you guys to shard the area around the chest? Today’s quest is even worse, putting the chest in close proximity to an elite. Sigh

I’d bother doing the “don’t cross the lines” puzzles if they didn’t have spawns directly on top of them that take you out of the minigame. God. No. I’m not dealing with that.

Then why are you on the forums? I thought the tripe that was candy crush was dead but apparently Activision also owns King, so they had to mix and match all their crap to make more crap.

I’m just saying I love those types of games, I really do. One of my favourite. But I do agree with you that maybe they should be a bit more easier. The match five, even for somebody like me who can plan ahead and know how to line of five matches in a row, might be a bit too difficult for most other people who’ve never spent amount time playing matching games.

Instead of having to match five in a row, it should be changed to something more simple, say… get 50-100 matches to win?

Well good for you! When I am spending more time on doing a dumb world quest built for mobiles rather than getting to know the story, it makes me wonder why I still play this game.

It really isn’t that hard once you get the hang of it.

I much prefer it to any of the turtle quests, outside maybe Nola “draw a circle” quest.

Seriously? The runelocked chest puzzles are the easiest thing since flying was permitted in the “Lighter Than Air” WQs back in Legion. 60 seconds to solve them, tops, and I’m off to do other quests.

The trick is simply to recognize that there are multiple shapes within the pattern. Take it one shape at a time, and they’re no trouble at all.

This, all day this. I just uninstalled WoW and unsubbed for the first time in almost a decade. This expansion has been bad but 8.2 was supposed to save that, it has just made it worse. This Candy Crush garbage they put in is ridiculous, and on top of that there isn’t even any rares spawning in mechagon so you can grind. Blizzard I believe should start making mobile games exclusively because they are tash.

Lol. Just had a look, is funny.

I mean you can always avoid these things, there are a lot worse unavoidable systems in WoW and BfA. Frustrating puzzle games are the least of my concern, and additional add something a little different to the same old routine.

I only got mad because I thought it meant match 5 pairs of yellow runes IN A ROW and not 5 runes at once. Wording on it seemed a little vague but it really isn’t so horrible.

Check out Warframe - it’s way more fun and it’s FREE. Plus the developers actually listen to their players and don’t “nerf fun” the way Blizzard does.

The fact that there’s so much else to do yet people are hung up on this one thing you don’t even have to bother touching is hilarious.

The entitlement is simply astounding. If you’re incapable of taking less than a minute to do it, then move on. It is legit that simple.

And people wonder why no one takes GD seriously. Maybe that’s why Blizzard ignores the rest of us that make valid suggestions, because some whine over the dumbest of things.

So much else to do? Like what, I’ve done everything in Nazjatar in less than 2 hours. It’s not that this quest is hard or annoying, it’s just the fact that Blizzard for all their talent, waste it on such ridiculous quests and I feel let down playing a dumb mobile game in a MMO.

If someone doesn’t like something, it automatically doesn’t mean we are entitled.

There’s a new dungeon and raid coming out as well. These FEW QUESTS aren’t the end of the world. And yes, it is entitlement. The world doesn’t revolve around you. You’re calling it a “waste of time” because you dislike it. Well I neither mythic raid nor do I gladiator PvP, which takes up MOST of what the game revolves around, yet I don’t call them a waste.

Let other people enjoy things for once. You’re not forced to do it. :roll_eyes:

I don’t mind the mini games, but I’d rather have quests that advance the story. I’m not really sure what these games have to do with that. Perhaps the naga had nothing to do for thousands of years so their queen let them play bejeweled?
