Ik it would be a lot to ask out of blizzard to make outdated content interesting again (/s) but it would be nice to see the older unused runeforge enchants be interesting again.

I’ve heard the UH in beta is using Rune of Apocalypse which is nice but it would still be great to have a viable alternative for Frost and Blood instead of just Fallen Crusader being the top go-to.

Even now, Frost 2h FC is what is being used and u usually completely ignore Razorice because the sustain and strength increase is that good in comparison to a barely noticeable added dps to weapon strikes and a small increase of damage taken from frost sources.

Blood also almost always takes FC as well, rarely going for sanguination or stoneskin except in very niche scenarios.

Maybe new runeforges altogether? Just something to mix things up and make it actually feel interesting and impactful for combinations if DW or ur not just taking a stat increase u don’t really notice when it procs except for the quick animation.

Its an enchant. A free enchant… who cares if its interesting or not? They are all mostly a damage increase anyways. Its easier to balance when you have 1 enchant to work off of instead of 10 different choices all doing something different, which usually leads to 1 enchant to work off of anyways.

Its a waste of time.

I can’t remember the last time I willingly chose FC over Sanguine.

Following this logic, why have runeforge system in the first place, then?
Might as well remove it entirely and just make it a single passive buff that offers no variety whatsoever.

Ok, but that doesn’t change the fact that vast majority of logged blood DK’s for raid and M+ are using FC.

FOR FREE ENCHANTS! Do you know how many enchants are made per expansion and 1 ends up being used for most people?
