Runeforging as Frost

So I’m wondering as 2h Frost should I be going for Razorice?

Always fallen crusader.

Thanks! That’s what I’ve been using but I wasn’t sure with the shattered blade talent, if taking that and using razor ice would be more beneficial

You’ll have razorice + fallen for DW when you take Shattering Blade. For 2h you won’t run Blade so you won’t need the extra razorice stacks.

Fallen Crusader. You have other ways of applying Razorice.

DW Oblit with Shattering Blade = Razorice + Fallen Crusader

DW Breath of Sindragosa = Rune of the Stoneskin Gargoyle + Fallen Crusader

All 2H run Fallen Crusader regardless of build.

god i wish they’d just bake crusader into the class at this point.

i said this elsewhere but while dw runeforges cover both weapons but count as one runeforge

Remember that brief moment where other runes were actually useful? Makes you wonder why they put the work in to updating them, only to make it so FC is used 100% of the time

They never were though, that’s the thing.

People using other runeforges because they didn’t have the math (from sims or theorycrafters or anything else missing at the time) to confirm that FC was by and far the only option doesn’t mean other forges were ever good or useful.

There was a fleeting moment where some were strong in PvP, but they were nerfed fast.

Spellwarding for example.

I dont do end game so i go razor all the time. I like the glowing effect of ice. Lol

No. Outside of niche circumstances its been the same enchants since Wrath.

You don’t PVP so you wouldn’t remember

What?

Cinderglacier was used in pvp for Frost where you would try to line up a cinderglacier proc, KM proc and Rime proc for higher Howling Blast crits in pvp because it bypassed armor. Or you would use Swordshattering or Swordbreaking.

Also, it wasnt Spellwarding back then so I dont want to hear about not remembering something. It was Spellshattering / Spellbreaking and it wasnt used because the DK already had enough to deal with magic damage.

Its so absolutely hilarious how confident you guys are yet are so ignorant of the history of the class that you claim to like. Even Stoneskin / Nerubian were niche. You either took them if you were having issues with threat or you werent quite defense capped. If you werent having either of those you went FC.

You literally dont remember anything. Go back to shaman the shaman forums, you might do better there.

Again. Projection.

Threat level was always a top priority in PVP. I see your point.

i can confirm that sanguination is still best for blood pvp.

Since when was this thread about PvP? Even your initial post said nothing about PvP. The person that responded to that initial post of yours was talking about pve and then you changed it to be about PvP because you are wrong about these other runeforges being useful.

Guess what, they are niche.

u can transmog the enchants u know , put Fallen crusader and transmog it to razor
