I clicked on the eye-ball looking extra button and the chest appeared.
I clicked on the chest and I get
“There is no loot.”

I can’t loot this, it shows on the min-map as a quest objective.

I tried log-off wait a while and log back in. it doesn’t let me loot it.

Are you in or out of the storm phase? Not sure if it even makes a difference though.

Either way I would post it in the Bug Report Forum.

Same issue here! Not in the storm phase, cannot loot, or complete objective. Tried /reload and still persists. I’ll try turning off addons next to see if that helps.

EDIT: Same issue persists with no addons

Yeah, I’m having this issue as well. First time that I’ve had time to stop by the isle so I don’t know if it’s been acting like this before now or not.

I also have this issue. I tried logging out, leaving the isle, /reloadui, dropping the quest and picking it back up, changing specs… nothing seems to work.

Imagine being a AAA gaming company and not investing time and resources into QA. Why not just let the player base do it in production!

2 of 9 level 80s get the “There is no loot” message from the Runed Storm Cache for this quest. Using the skip the whole questline button worked for most of my toons, but maybe once you’ve used that if other characters have partially completed the questline, they can no longer get the upgrade gem?

try putting the ring on, i put it on and i was able to loot the chests

edit: i had someone else try it on the isle, and they said they could loot the chests after they couldnt

double edit: someone said they had the ring on the whole time and couldnt loot the chests, i dont know

I’m not sure if this is due to the chest being in a “frozen” like state after players recently loot it before you.

Someone else had just looted the one I attempted to about 5 seconds before, so that could be a potential issue.

1 toon was able to kill one of the excavation bosses and received a Raw Singing Citrine from that. The other was able to loot the box after logout and back in. Try either of these if you get the “There is no loot” message.

Went back today and I could loot the chests. Guess the only thing that fixes it is waiting a while.
