Runed Null Stone Rod

Is there any reason this enchanting rod does not have the ability to be recrafted into by the blue enchanting rod which already cost 300 acuity to make? It seems silly that if you’ve already made a Runed Ironclaw Rod(300 Acuity), you are then 400 acuity away from upgrading to the epic version; The Runed Null Stone Rod.

Essentially, anyone who made the blue rod early for the +10 skill gets screwed over. This iteration of this, much like the epic blacksmithing hammer in Dragonflight, simply makes no sense. It punishes people for making a blue rod. Why is there not an upgrade/recraft option to add +100 Artisan’s Acuity and the additional mats and have a blue rod turned into the epic version?

This disconnect would be similar to if you made a 606 crafting piece with a Spark of Omens week 1, you could NEVER recraft it and add a higher tier enchanted crest to raise the item level. Seems like this missed an obvious Quality of Life addition.

Welcome to Blizzards short sighted professions that they allegedly spent a lot of time on…

Yeah it’s pretty silly… I have delayed getting the rare rod to make the epic version.

It may be not a waste too much. I had made two rods in DF, a resource one and an inspiration one.
