Runecloth bag recipe vendor

Can you please either make this BoP or available to everyone? just the bag, rest can be bot paradise. This is ridiculous. Thank you.

I love how its been weeks and the same bots are still on every layer spamming their automated scripts.
Its like I wonder if Blizzard, in its ignoring of this type of issue is just suggesting to average players to RMT the gold to buy the overpriced recipee from the scripters/botters or if they are suggesting all players use scripts/automation themselves to try to get items like this…

or more likely they are all busy by stomping all the cata bugs and thinking up the next 2-3 feeble class adjustments which will continue to not fix the issue with how spellcasters suck.

Such a doomer take so here is a positive spin: we can just “3 wise monkey” the problem situations like this and focus on other, better parts of the game.

I don’t know about that, but I just had an epiphany. Blizzard’s bean counters probably look at inflation as a necessary evil to make players play more so that they can absorb the costs. It doesn’t work that way, but folks don’t call them bean counters for nothing. Sometimes they pay too much attention to that “last bean”.

literally 5-8 people on every layer… Ive given up on it.

TRUE! bots and scripters who are online 24 hours a day must be fantastic for engagement metrics play session!

This becomes a problem when a “casual player” realize that their single account is worth less than a dozen bot accounts and quits though!

It’s like the “money multiplier” except with tryharding and the bots like you use in your example.

This is how they keep things growing…on paper. It’s basically Blizzard’s version of the federal reserve system.

Inflation is a sadistic self fulfilling version of how blizzard can increase spending without borrowing. The end goal is activity.

Edit: sorry OP, I digress

The funny part is how many people “need” this recipe. Sure, its nice to have, but isn’t neccessary.

It is infuriating when important recipes are only available in limited quantities on a single vendor. Not a profession you have? No problem, buy it and post it to the AH at a ridiculous markup. Already bought the recipe? No problem. Buy another and post it to the AH at a ridiculous markup. My alchemist never got his hands on the FAP recipe until P2 was well under way. Since FAPs were considered “necessary” in BFD, the only place you could find the recipe was on the AH.

i get where you coming from but its not so much about needing the recipe but feeling cheated when trying to get it because theres 8 bots there spamming macros to get it before you.

It is about more than feeling cheated. An item that can only be learned by a specific profession should not be sold in limited quantities to anyone who wants to buy it. It should either be taught by a trainer or available only as a world drop. At least with a world drop you have a chance to get it without being robbed in the AH. Also, no one should be making more gold selling the item recipe than the crafter can make selling the actual item.

It’s super disappointing that this is allowed to continue. Yes the pattern is not a necessity. I already have bags bigger. I make more gold selling the runecloth than I would selling the bags. It’s just the principle of the thing and anyone who bought one of these for 150-200g off the AH is a fool.

The vendor should raise the price like a real goblin.
