Rumors of Legion Remix?

Wowhead: “bar is green therefore legion remix”

The big thing with MoP Remix was that it gave us a way to earn a bunch of mount skins that were sitting in the files, as well as a bunch of weapons and armor that were either unused or NPC-only.

With WoD, most of the stuff they added was available, which is why we had the complaints about having 20 wolves and all that, and most of the stuff that was NPC-only or unused was eventually added in later expansions (for example, the Draenei crystal weapons that might’ve been for the scrapped Shattrath raid were added as rare drops across Argus)

That said, MoP was kind of a unique case in that Blizzard developed a lot a lot of assets just for the expac, a Remix event anywhere else will have to dig deep for new rewards.

We’re going to have another situation where people get in their feelings about a Legion remix and then it’s something else just like the Jolly Roger and Plunderstorm aren’t we

They could let Evoker’s choose: Priest or Shaman hall for Preservation, A DPS hall for Devastation. Not the optimum solution, but better than leaving those players out completely.

Could just mean “home is where the hearth is…” I mean it looks like a house with a hearthstone rune on it.

BM hunters were super powerful in Legion. So were warriors and DHs. But mainly the BM Hunts.

I barely remember playing Legion…My memory is horrid though.

Interesting question really.

The artifact would be easy, it sounds like the obvious choice for the uncapped item like the cape we had in MoP. Still will need some creativity. It’s a great way to give Draks the artifacts which are arguably some of the best weapon mogs in the game for most classes.

The order halls, however…

I missed the “use your artifact to nullify the sword” questline, it’d be nice to have a chance to do it.

Really hoping it is WoD remix so we don’t have to wait 2 more years for WoD classic team to fix the broken Garrison Monuments that retail team refused to fix the last 2+ years and the Remix team can fix later next year.

Really they could cut those out, like if they do WOD they really need to leave out garrisons. I can’t remember what was left off of MOP, but it still felt complete.

I can’t answer that question, I didn’t play MoP in its heyday.

I only know what I’ve read, and apparently it was challenge modes/mogs and the legendary cape quest, replaced with the thread muncher one.

Either way, I honestly don’t care how they do it. I just want another Remix.

Legion or otherwise.

Agreed. I enjoyed MoP thoroughly, and hope to enjoy another remix.

It’s not the same symbol from WoD

Halfhill was probably the largest thing missing from Remix, aside from the legendary quest chain. Funnily enough, Halfhill is also where the player farm is located, which is kind of a much smaller-scale version of the WoD garrison.

Remix went to pretty great lengths to not include any normal items from retail and the garrison provides access to many of those, so it probably would be turned into an infinite hub instead in a potential WoD iteration.

Looks like they changed it

wrath is super boring. i hope its wod or legion…or tbc pls

Legion or Wrath should be next.
WoD sucks

lol … Wonder if they’d do anything with the mage tower weapons :eyes:

  • That being said, they didn’t do anything with the MoP challenge mode sets in MoP-Remix — So I doubt Mage-Tower appearances would come back in a ‘Legion-Remix’

Although I wouldn’t mind if the MoP challenge mode sets + MT Legion sets eventually came back — Personally, I don’t think ‘Remix’ would be the best way about bringing about their return … Although for a handful of other new rewards? I’m all for it

Legion remix would require a zone created for Dragons and the creation of dragon artifact weapons if it followed the same formula as MOP remix. I guess they could exclude dragons from it but they were included in MOP remix.

It could be WOD. The garrison of infinite potential!
