Time to laugh at all the streamers who begin crying “omg im banned why me just because i streamed the wsg exploit doesnt mean i deserve a ban”
I wish we could ban all streamers on principle regardless of breaking any rules. 
If you don’t understand how staggered banwaves and bot detection works, probably best not to comment than develop wild tinfoil hat conspiracy theories on the topic.

I am not going to believe anything beyond short suspensions are happening till I see proof otherwise.
you know making up stuff like this hurts the community more then helps.
Can confirm, guildmate got false flag banned and unbanned for botting this morning, and another player on the bracket got banned for botting but not unbanned so far.

Per the cs forums, a smaller sized ban wave has definitely gone out as of yesterday. Several folks complaining of 6 month suspensions (of course, they all swear they’re innocent).

Blizzard doesn’t roll out one ban at a time, they do waves for botting.
It’s funny everyone that’s in prison is innocent just like the ppl that got a suspension.

2 of the well known, 24hr a day honor botters on my realm are now gone. Its very possible a ban wave actually went out

Note the use of the word ‘sweep’ - i think bans might be the case.

If you have this issue, try logging in, see if it is resolved. Looks like a few accounts may have gotten caught in a sweep, in error.
I do apologize for the inconvenience. If you find yourself still suspended, you are certainly welcome to leave an appeal open for further review. If you currently have a ticket open for an appeal and your license is no longer suspended, you are also free to close that ticket as it was already addressed.

With the “sweep” or giant “bot ban” I am glad some of the issues were addressed and resolved. I am one of the ones who initially received a 6 month suspension for being accused of botting or 3rd party applications that I have never used. I had recently returned from a 10 day vacation and after I logged on my account received that punishment. After using the appeal process the error was quickly resolved. So for anyone who thinks blizzard might have made an error, please continue to use their appeal process and I hope your issue is resolved.
Utterly shameful they can just ban an account without showing any evidence or screenshots. Even worse having to sit hours through multiple appeals and being told you’re a liar and that the ‘correct action’ was taken.

They have their internal logs - everything that happens in the game is saved - every single action taken by anything - every single letter thats posted to a chat channel. The dont need to provide you evidence.

They don’t but they should have to. Its called decent customer service. You’re banning a customers account and you can at least have the decency to provide examples as to what software or instances you suspect them of. My friend just got his account back from this crap.
