Please remove the blight from the Cataclysm era Ruins of Lordaeron. It doesn’t belong there and it ruins my immersion.

So storylines mean nothing? You can only be immersed in one phase of the entire game?

Or, is “ruins my immersion” code for “I can’t do X”?

Use Zidormi and it won’t be there. If you don’t see Zidormi, quickly do the BfA intro.

What’s Lordaeron? Oh wait is that that abandoned city in the Forsaken zone no one remembers exists? Meh why bother when you can sell $90 mounts though… too much work and effort trying to deliver an overall good product.

There is blight in the old version of the Ruins of Lordaeron. Holy cow.

No OP means there is Blight in the Old Undercity when you do talk to the dragon

Not for me. You may have to advance a quest line.

I had to talk to the dragon 3 times in a row to get non blight version. Even then everything turned green when I left the courtyard and came back. It’s buggy.

I’m not seeing Blight in my Cata era.

I can confirm, the green glow from the Blight is present even in the Cataclysm version after talking to Zidormi.

I switched mine to the old version (I like UC) and the green stuff is still there. It doesn’t do any damage and I can freely come and go, but it is an eyesore.

The blight has been there for a while now. Are they planning to update the lore of that area? or is it going to be permanently like that?

ZIdormi is there for me, but does not remove the blight. Blight still does dmg to me, does Zidormi, have a confim button, mine only has a clickable Goodbye. Nothing else. I have not been able to do the hallow’s eve quests… the toon that i am using is a boosted forsaken monk. Tried to do the BFA opening scenario, but first quest was the jail break, also did not do SL content. and to get Return to Lordaeron, i need to do the entire SL content, correct?

If you did SL at all with any toon, just pick up the Calia quest in Orgrimmar.

My earthen leveled in DF and candy collecting. Hit 50 and had the problem you are facing but couldn’t even see Zidormi.

I gritted my teeth and did the Calia quest and that fixed things.

If Zidormi allows you to change but it does not change just select it twice more.

It is bugged so the first switch doesn’t work, so you need to go back to present and then again to the past.

Maybe she is tired of the stupid bugs too and losing track of timelines.

While they’re updating that, can they make the present day Ruins act more like a little mini city? Same with Gilneas.
