On more than a few occasions in random epic battlegrounds I’ve been in someone will say, “The other team is a ruin premade.” then a bunch of people will leave the battleground because of it…what’s this ruin premade that causes people to leave…
Ruin Gaming is an Alliance mega guild that has over 100 guilds on different servers. They have a discord that is constantly listing groups. They are incredibly organized. I wouldn’t blame people for leaving.
I think solo queue should be a thing for both rated and randoms. Solo pugs should not be thrown into a bg against full premades. And even though parties of 5 are the largest that can queue, the random bg finder will indeed stack premades against a full group of solo pugs.
Repeat,repeat.
Wasnt that a group that caused absurds amount of lag in Nazjatar?
Suddenly reminded me of The Hunger Games where one of the districts strictly trained kids for life for the Games.
Pretty dedicated. And deterant.
Yes. They sent in multiple raids and hopped from shard to shard, bringing possible response to a standstill. Developers were unable to deal with this.
What ruin does is they take over epic BGs and grief for hours. They don’t try to win, just prevent the enemy from winning until everyone leaves and they get a new batch of people to troll.
They also mass vote kick everyone on their side in said epic BG who isn’t ruin. They should be banned, 100%. Buncha scumbags.
It’s going to be fun watching what happens Since Blizz is so well known for their surgically exact fixes to problems I’m sure they’ll come up with something that has the least impact to the community overall
Horde players complaining about pvp is a joke. Considering how badly outnumbered alliance is in pvp, it’s pretty cool for them to organize like they do. If Ion wasn’t such a horde patron then they wouldn’t have to do that, but Ion and his crew don’t give a crap about faction imbalance, as long as horde is dominant of course.
How do you kick someone from a bg?
They queue in groups of 5, so if they get multiple groups into one group, all of them report other players afk and fill those slots with ruin players, or they get another set of random and rise and repeat.
Right, but can’t that player just get into combat?
Not always an option, and I’m pretty certain that if you get 15+ afk reports dumped into you you’re just gone without any recourse.
Ah…well then I agree with you. That’s pretty lame.
Yes and it was beautiful. Only time I ever saw Alliance win that was when Ruin rolled into town and broke the servers lol
Seems to me that this sort of anecdotal evidence is totally worthless when compared to a guild with 100 different active wings. Sure, maybe one group did that. But that’s hardly a good representation, yeah?
me and like two of my guildies completely trash them on a regular basis
they’re a cross platform gaming community but in wow they’re the quintessential zerg guild, and usually they’re pretty bad at the game to boot
The ones who perpetrate this behavior should be banned. Its an abuse of the report system and its griefing.
Horde PvP tears have been the best gift from this expansion so far.
It got so bad that I had no choice but to faction transfer to Alliance and join them.
