I cant remember the last time something someone said to me actually “hurt my feelings” or affected me in any real way.
I guess it depends on your background i had a father who used to tell me a lot about physcology and people in general and words in the end can never do anything to you unless they are followed up by physical action which is the only thing that matters.
The very few times are when someone who i view equal or superior to me has said it which are the only times i actually take it into consideration which are very few times.
that how i imagine some individuals on wow forums lmao
Yeah the toxicity is rife in PvP.
I was in solo shuffle earlier today, won 4 matches and the monk said I was only winning because of DPS and that I was trash … Killing him the next round felt great, but yeah still lol
1 v 1 , me scrub
Big /hug they’re just jealous.
I can’t tell you the amount of times I’ve been emoted on, bagged, or flagged down in PvP. Even though we were WINNING.
Haters gonna hate and the players gonna play?
Someone needed a friend so they made an attention post.
It will be Ok
Has Honor lvl 1474…You poor thing!
Uh huh … Sarcasm noted.
Sadly this happens and its not a pvp issue.
2 years ago I was bullied. HARD. I macrod totally innocent words into my spells because of my advanced technical prowess. This spiced the game up and made it more fun for everyone. They cheered me on which told me I was on the right track. Granted I couldn’t really read chat anymore because of the clutter it caused but I’m pretty sure everyone appreciated it. Then I was banned by mean people even though I did nothing wrong which instantly hurt my feelings.
Proof of my innocence:

Sensing the sarcasm. Here’s the thing: people who act like that in-game are often dealing with their own problems. They might be struggling with serious mental health issues, feeling depressed, or have something broken inside. Be glad you’re not in that state of mind.
My post got removed by the system, I guess by the use of a word towards the whole situation >,>
In short, my sympathies for you OP - Just hang in there. This issue will always exist, sadly, so all we have left is learning how to ignore them (literally putting on ignore also) and reporting the ones that are due a report.
I got my fair share of hate on SS for just playing a Rdruid.
I’m surprised how many people fell for this.
I am so sorry to hear this Frio. I would hold you close in the shower as well as you cried. It’s okay cry. But do me a favor and don’t use the R word for Druid even in abbreviation. Blizz will ban you. Trust me I know. They prefer MCDruid (mentally challenged Druid). All things aside, stop putting yourself down. I think you are a SDruid(smart Druid).
Too bad. They shouldn’t be on this game then.
They really shouldn’t. Instead of lashing out at people in the game, they should seek the medical help they need. Unfortunately, some people think it’s okay to take out their frustrations or struggles in the game rather than seeking professional support. Sadly, this behavior shows up in the forums too.
I know that this is a bait post and all that, but here’s something for the people that took this serious. I really hope that people start realizing this exact thing about their issues. Stepping away from the game for mental health sake is always a good option for overly sensitive or otherwise mentally afflicted. There are some people who cannot play competitive games because their blood pressure goes up through the roof upon losing or getting frustrated. Those are bad and in a different way. Mental, physical… all of it. If people’s words or actions in an online space or game disturb someone that bad, they need to step away and seriously do something else. I’m not saying that true ACTUAL bullying is good or condoning it, but online you can avoid it very easily by blocking them or doing something else.
Happy Halloween everybody! : )
Me whenever I try to do a solo shuffle, lol. But yes you’re absolutely right.
Those people know how to self-regulate and do not inflict any animosity on others, though, and it is not a good comparison to what the OP is experiencing.
