Ruby Lifecalling quest simply doesn’s show up for me. There is only one prereq listed, For the Benefit of the Queen, and even while party-synched with other characters after completing For the Benefit of the Queen, Ruby Lifecalling simply does not appear. The NPC is there, the items on the table are all there, everything is set for the quest to begin but both the quest marker and dialogue are absent.
Every conversation I can find about this specific issue mentions A) go do this quest in Valdrakken that I dont even have access to (the NPC is not there in my game phase), or B) try party synch to re-do the prerequsite quest.
Neither of those solutions have worked. The NPC for the daycare isn’t present in Valdrakken, and party synch didn’t work either after handing the egg to the queen and watching the cinematic, same problem. No quest marker, no dialogue.
Without this quest I cannot launch the rest of the chain, and obviously I am thus unable to acquire the relevant achievement.
I have no add-ons. I am playing on a computer that is middle of the road spec wise for this game (which is hilarious to say considering I’ve seen it played on a netbook with spotty internet in Iraq). I am not streaming the game from another machine. I have attempted to ‘scan and repair’ local files, nothing came up as missing or incorrect.
I am a returning player who was forced into a starter account in error on this supposedly “free weekend” and the only option I had to actually play the game with the people I was trying to play with was to activate a subscribe. I have no idea if that has anything to do with it, just trying to provide information.
