So… Anyone else think that this dungeon is a massive pain?
RLP is awful. I’m hoping after Blizz employees come back from vacation we see better tuning for m+, specifically this place. It’s a PITA on tyrannical and fortified. Meanwhile, places like Shadowmoon Burial Grounds are a free score handout.
Especially for heals it seems to be a place to avoid. The difference between the easiest and the hardest dungeons is to big in my opinion.
Also a lot of dungeons seem to have so many abilities that it’s overwhelming on some parts. As a range there are places where I can’t hardcast sometimes for more then 5 seconds because I always have to move out of something which would otherwise kill me.
The Dragons kill my group every time I’m in there because the “GO GO GO” mentality that has developed in WoW over the past few years, and tanks forget the Dragons are there. Then they land and decide to snack on the healer then wipe the rest of the group.
The 2nd boss is just horrible to fight. Even on something as low as a +6, the Meteor she spawns one shots you on Fortified (not even Tyrannical). With how much running is involved in that fight, it’s very easy to forget about the meteor once or twice and it being a straight up one-shot is just not fun. (The amount of melee I’ve seen get killed because they were running back to the boss after killing the add, didn’t see the swirl and got meteor’d is… a lot. Same with how many tanks I’ve seen get murdered because they didn’t move out of the way in time because it can be hard to see the swirl with how much stuff is on the ground in that fight)
The adds also die incredibly slow on Tyrannical Weeks and is probably my least favorite dungeon boss fight ever because of it.
I don’t mind the first boss. The third boss is fine with a decent group. Other than the dragons, the trash is fine EDIT: SCRATCH THAT, now that I’ve done the dungeon on +8/9 multiple times, I don’t know if it’s the scaling or what, but the trash is horrible, omg. But the second boss is just… yeesh.
Also, I really think they should add Strength as an option to the 2h Axe that drops from the dungeon. Currently, it’s agility only, which means out of 38 Specs in the game, only a single spec (Survival) can loot this Axe, which is something I’m sure Blizzard has said they don’t want to do in the past. That makes it very hard to obtain. At least if you make it able to switch between Agility and Strength, more people have it as possible loot.
