Cpu overhead?

Nope. I got a friend getting same results with i9-11900K too. Definitely rebar is causing performance hit on F1 2020.

Guess it’s easy to turn off in bios at least until new drivers come out that may help.

Rebar off with 11900K + Asus Strix RTX 3080:

Wow that’s…a pretty big hit.

May he safer to turn off in Bios just in case lol

Yeah, he reverted to original BIOS.

You’ll never see it because it doesn’t make a difference in this game other than cutting you frames to pieces. 24fps lows in large scale PVP on a 3090 and OC 10900k, no thanks.

It’s fun to use to take screenshots on your character.

My girl looks good with all them shadas

Although I wouldn’t pay 40% performance for it during play.

EDIT: forgot to turn AA back on for that screenshot fml

in wow right now it’s nothing to get excited about

I would actually be pretty excited if it were RTX lighting… raytraced lights generally make games look a lot better. Just look at Minecraft, where turning on RTX makes it look incredible even though the whole game is 4-polygon blocks with SNES textures.

WoW only implements RTX shadows though, which are underwhelming (as seen above). They’ll be a nice cherry on top a few years from now when cards are much more powerful but for now it’s probably best kept off.
