RTX 5000 Black Screen Issues with 100% Fans (losing signal)

Well, I’ve been using a 5070ti for less than a month, and recently I started losing video on both my monitors while playing WoW. It only happens in WoW… I have several other games that are much more demanding than WoW and I don’t have this problem… I’d like to know if you’ve had a similar problem or a solution.

I’ve already updated the bios, updated the drivers, rolled back the drivers, changed the game to dx11… I left the game with graphics and resolutions at the lowest possible, and I still continue to have these screen shutdown problems, forcing me to turn off the pc to be able to start again.

try turning off your freesync/g-sync in the AMD/Nvidia control panel
if that doesn’t work try playing around with the veritical sync settings (on to off or vice versa)
if that also doesn’t work try lowering settings a bit and turn off RT

doesn’t seem to be a driver issue

  • ive seen other RTX5XXX black screen issues on other forums but typically it was across all games. Solutions (if any) often vary
