Impressive for the price, will wait for AMD’s answer before making a decision.

Interesting tidbit - the 5700xt has aged pretty well it seems.

14 game average 1440p high:
1080 ti: 108/86
2070s: 106/87
5700xt: 104/85

Started off being about 10% slower than the 2070 super and it seems that fine wine again starting to pay off. I’d say these results are all identical in user experience.

Still, HUB is more AMD biased. But in TPU and TH, the 5700 is between 5-7% behind the 2070s still with their game selections.

Not bad at all. I think I need at least a 50% uplift to warrant upgrading, though. The change from the Vega 64 to 5700xt was around 15-20%, but I barely felt it. (only upgraded to get my wife off her RX 580 to the V64).

3070 isn’t big enough of a gain over my 5700xt. I’ll wait for the 68000XT review, and depending on how competitive it is, it will be a battle between that and finding a 3080.

RTX 30 changed price/performance. Price crash is coming for older cards.

Price crash on older cards is only gonna happen when $400 gpu beats the 5700xt and is widely available

Even though the 3070 is 2080ti level for $500, it won’t matter for people only willing to pay $350-400.

So I suspect prices on older midrange cards to remain relatively the same until the sub $400 offerings launch.

I think RTX 3060 is coming out in 2-4 weeks time. Gotta love the rumors.

At least RTX 3070 is less than half the price of RTX 2080 Ti. Can’t argue with that.

If I had nothing it would be a worthy purchase, for sure. But still with RDNA2 just over the literal next horizon, it’s worth waiting to see.

The market will reset the price for the RTX 2xxx series once there is a supply of RTX 3xxx cards that isn’t solely on ebay.

I will most likely upgrade to one of these guys. Looking forward to what’s to come.
