I have Grandmaster Vole listed to invite for Ember Court and I go to where he is in Maldraxxus and he has no quest for me.
I have done every quest in Maldraxxus but his portrait was grayed out on the Ember Court Guest list screen.

I’m sure you have figured this out by now since this post is a week old. However, for others confused like I was and Google led you here, you must buy the invitation from Lady Ilinca (next to Lord Garridan above Sinfall). It requires Friendly rep with the Ember Court.

Glad this was posted somewhere.
It seems really silly that we can randomly roll guests we don’t yet have the reputation to invite, yeah? My Venthyr character is only a bit of rep shy of Friendly with the Ember Court so my only option is to revoke Vole to try and get someone I can invite.
—I reached friendly with the ember court just today, from completing this weeks court. I purchased the invitation for Grandmaster Vole then ( I guess ) wasted up to 20 rerolls hoping to get a look at him. Wondering if he will be available next week ???
—Also, are we supposed to have two guests at ember court rank 2 ? Mine has only ever shown one available. I see when we go to rank 3 supposedly 3 guests ?
