Ember Court Bug, I’m trying to RSVP Choofa and there is no quest to Invite him, i checked WoWHead and it mentions the quest is obtainable after you do intro to Ardenweld but this character was a Strings of Fate so that quest never happened even though I’m standing beside him, i don’t have a quest to invite him to Ember Court next week.

bump, choofa doesn’t offer the quest
I am staring at the NPC now, can confirm there is no quest. I did the full campaign (this is my main) and still no quest, so can confirm it is a bug in general, not just a “Threads of Fate” bug.
Also experiencing this bug. All other related quests are completed.

As of right now when I talk to Lady Ilinca next to Lord Garridan (where you check the Guests list) apparently when hitting Honored with The Ember Court there’s an “Invitation: Choofa” that adds Choofa to your guest list allowing you to earn his RSVP. Not sure if this has anything to do with not being able to invite Choofa or personally accept his quest.

Bumping with more details. I’ve picked up the weekly “The Ember Court” quest and have completed everything else (choosing refreshments, entertainment, Kleia and Pelagos’ RSVP, etc.). However, neither speaking to Lady Ilnica nor going to visit Choofa in Tirna Vaal gives a quest to get his RSVP.

Choofa and Grandmaster Vole are unlocked at higher rep levels. If you look at Lady Ilinca’s vendor list you should see an invitation. You will have to reroll that slot with a Blank Invitation.

That is all good and well, but Choofa shows up as one of our two invited guests this week. I don’t feel it should if we can’t do the quest for them - since everyone else we can potentially get has a quest after we unlock them as a potential guest.

That is totally valid, might be why the reduced the invitation cost if the change was more difficult to hide them?
This for this info, it’s really helpful. It’s also stupid annoying that they’d give you this group on week 3 and not even leave a breadcrumb about the rep, since there’s no way to have this rep level yet.

They aren’t one of your two guests. They are one of the two the Prince is asking you to invite - learn to read, please. If you don’t have the rep to invite them, reroll them with a balnk, as was already stated. In the future, talk less, think more. Thanks!

If they are too good for your party then revoke their invitation using a “Blank Invitation” which can be bought from Lady Ilinca using infused rubies.
If you throw more raging parties, then I’m sure these stubborn guests will come around eventually if you will have them!
I bought invitation choofa from npc last week, just more than 200 rubies on blank invitation for refresh, it keep recycling on all the guest except choofa, i have already interact with choofa in ardenweld, rep is stranger. still no rsvp pop up in the invitation list. Anyone else encountering this bug ?
My problem is, I’ve got the rep, I’ve already had Choofa as a guest once. I bought the permanent invitation, now he has reset back to “undiscovered.” Great.
My problem was that I purchased the Choofa invite from Lady Illinca, right-clicked on it in my bag, and when I went to open my Ember Court for the week, Choofa was on my guest list and marked as ‘RSVP received’. I assumed this meant all was well for Choofa, but when I opened the court, there was no Choofa and so I had only one invited guest for that Ember Court. Very puzzling. I repurchased the invite and right-clicked on it again. I also used about 10 blank invitations trying to get Choofa to reappear as a guest to invite, but but no luck. So, I’m not sure what’s going on with Choofa at this point.
