That’s the difference between unranked and challenger. I see matches where the healer is god mode one round juking kicks like a pro and the next round dies to simple crap. I honestly don’t care about rating that much, it’s still kinda fun but…
Imagine what this does to a new player who really has no experience. Now me a “Challenger” is destroying kids who are just starting and somehow has me in his bracket.

Google for wow solo shuffle carry and you find a variety of sites that have obviously figured out how to game your elo system.
All you can do is report them, and blizz does nothing because they are in bed w the streamers gamergate style. 1200cr just joined a group all in voice carrying. I think they are doing it with the healers, because of the shortage. No one is going to 2s n 3s to get farmed by glad streamers, so they going RSS lol. YOU CAN WIN TOO JONNY, just donate to X stream, to support the channel of course wink wink lol.
Pull up that tab and see the rating, there will be one super low compared to the others, do your best to make sure that player loses their rounds. Whatever puts the carry group back into a long Q time.
Why? Because people in placements are put at 1500 mmr? That seems entirely acceptable although initial winning (or losing) streaks may shift people up and down a little bit too much.
When groups are obviously queuing SOLO shuffle coordinating matches how would you expect to maintain any ELO stability? I don’t think many people are interested in continuing to play a game where the odds are stacked against them regardless of individual skill level. Maybe I’m wrong.
I used to play RBGs w friend who had admitted he worked for the boosting websites. They pilot accounts to Glad w a glad team, get their cut, they may boost a dozen accounts, blizz gives them a 90 day suspension and they are back, or dont care cause they never boost on their main personal account.
As for RSS now, I think they are using the healer shortage to hopefully Q and get multiple people in the same match in voice. Just a theory, havent solved it yet lol.
I think it goes something like this. Get 10 machines queuing simultaneously, when 2 or 3 pop or enough to coordinate the match take the queue. Seems like UUID/IP timing control should be able to do something about this but honestly think they’d rather get their cut.
I’m not sure if it’s particularly prevalent in Shuffle. I’ve seen it in 3v3, though, where it’s just burst dps like fdk or ww plus a protection paladin plus the buyer and they leave if they don’t end in the game by the second or third dr.
Oh, Blizzard isn’t in any way profiting off these fellas.
Here’s what sense it makes, people are paying actual money because they can’t earn it on their own devaluing the ELO system. Groups are obviously taking solo queues together coordinating the cc’s over comms and boosting whoever paid. Why would they offer it for sale if it couldn’t be accomplished? Why is 1700 some magic number?
Here’s an example of the side effects of what I’m talking about. I queue into a sub 1k bracket because somehow after queuing into boosters for a day I magically am no longer challenger or whatever and 6-0 some poor real sub1k rdruid. I didn’t get better overnight. You think 10 guys on coms group queuing screwing up everyone’s solo experience is good for pvp?

sometimes i see this, maaaaaaaybe. occasionally i have a game where the healer is just cracking their sh it and i mean like theyre just on it. its almost like their dps are holding htem back… they repeatedly help dps their teams kill target… or they perform the followup cc on their go more often than youd expect to see, etc. just playing at a noticeably higher level than their dps. and its like, whats going on here haha, this is fun.
