RSS was a cool experiment but

All this thread is showing to me is that there are so many relatively simple things Blizzard could do to provide real incentives for most players to PvP, and yet they don’t do it.

Holding out a sliver of hope for a significant PvP rewards rework for TWW, but tbh I am not holding my breath.

Wouldn’t be able to get it. And it would need to be only enabled in PvP or the PvE crowd would also get upset

sounds like a functioning incentive to me

General Discussion and Twitter would get burned down by people who don’t pvp if they finally implement ability skins and they’re tied to not just pvp but high rated pvp. :dracthyr_comfy_sip:

I think the amount of sleep we’d lose could be counted in nanoseconds

They could just make it achievable in PvE too like the 2400 armor effects.

Just add it as a reward in both pve and pvp at the same time. So both playerbases have a way to get them. Like tie them in with the mythic raid achievement.

I am the PVE crowd, we’re cool with it.

they could do two sets of colors then, one for pvp and one for pve. and maybe use same colors for both but reverse the order so you have two opportunities to get them.

ie
s1 pvp blue, s1 pve red
s2 pvp green, s2 pve blue
s3 pvp red, s3 pve green

Toss in DHs and I’ll do a training montage with you.

This is a great idea and they should def do it. Rewards are super scarce in pvp if you’ve been doing it a lot, like getting a vicious saddle is pointless to anyone nowadays that pvped all the last seasons.

People could be a bit less selfish. There’s other players in this game that aren’t 2400 and work their butts off all season.

honestly percentage top .5 percent gets glad and the 1 person per spec gets r1

i mean a bg had 4 ppl 2s 6ppl 3s 10ppl 5s. unless u were on that derpy bg. anyway. i think that makes more sense.

This is how I got snubbed out of gladiator one season. Can’t trust blizzard for cut offs. The way it is now is fine

the point of lowering the rewards is to account for the new player expectations from RSS where it has been easier to get up to 2100 for the illusion. The whole point of this post is to remove RSS and to add a solo queue function to the normal ladder without alienating the people who have abandoned 2s/3s for shuffle lol

if you havent been following blizz’s slow changes to PVP rewards, they have made everything more attainable, but the new game modes they are introducing is splintering the dying playerbase

I 100% agree. The healer situation in SS honestly I don’t think can be fixed. The format of 6 rounds shuffling simply doesn’t allow healers the opportunity to win more than 3 rounds unless you are significantly better than the other healer to allow a win condition for your team. I just don’t think it’s possible and frankly should probably be gutted or reworked into just a solo queue regular 3’s/2’s. SS hemorrhaging players in the regular 2’s and 3’s bracket because casual players are playing SS instead of the LFG system. I ran into a Rank 1 rogue and mage yesterday at 1800 mmr in 2’s.
