Lots of people did buy glad. Especially after it became just a basic achievement rather then a % based award. Those are all pilots.
That’s what’s weird to me about the whole RSS boosting discussion. Why would they change their method to boost players? There is no reason to. Tons of players buy pilots and never got banned. What’s different now? Why would a boosting company go through some extremely complicated process? Instead, they could have one player piloting a bunch of accounts with all of them in queue at the same time. Then they just choose the account that pops first.
Yea. It’s happened to me so many times. My main partnerm and good friend, have been playing together since s4/s5. Starting out at 1300-1400 and eventually getting 2400 together years later.
I also play with plenty of randoms just to grind honor or rating. I was playing with a druid from lfg and someone said I was doing a carry. It’s such an awful mentality. These players like Giznator can’t accept that the rating they have has more todo with their ability than anything else.
Hey, us real players, are having an actual discussion about the changes in RSS, seems like less and less real players are there and its mostly the glad crew. If its like that at low rating, the higher rating must be rough. Then again players are saying that higher ratings are easier then lower rated rss games soo I dono…
When I say us real players, I mean people having fun playing a video game, paying a sub… Not people sitting in a call center playing wow as a job. Its an A and B conversation, so C your way out.
So I’m not a real player? Can it bud. Either post evidence of what you’re seeing or I’ll just continue to report you for spamming and trolling.
You keep posting yet offer no evidence. You’re incredibly lazy or a liar. I made a post recently about issues I saw with MMR. I spent a couple hours looking over my logs and graphing things out. Offered up my insights based on evidence… and then provided the evidence. I even went so far as to make another hunter… and also farmed out 2400 on it which I’ll be posting about soon.
What you’re doing is accusing lots of players of cheating. What you’re doing is creating a community of players who refuse to ask for help and refuse to get better and instead blame boosting or bots or whatever… instead of actually identifying the real issues with rating.
That’s my problem. There are issues with PvP, arena, and RSS. Players like you though don’t even understand the basics of the game and blame the problems on something you have quite literally zero familiarity with. It’s not glad players or boosts keeping players at sub 1k rating, yet we have lots of posts about it. Boosters aren’t keeping you at 1800. You don’t even have many games played, yet you post on the forums like you do. So quit being lazy and post evidence or continue to be the liar we all know you are.
Dunno mate. Normally I’d deny it too, but I’ve had 3 games this week where people afk’d in multiple rounds letting the 1400 guy in the 2k lobby go 4-2.
I think legend is a niche market…but in 1500 rounds I ran into boosting all of one time myself. I think the random nature can make bad games feel like boosting.
I lost one because healers just couldnt handle execute dmg
That’s fine, then post about it. That’s really all I’m asking for. These accounts would have tons of games played and would stick out like sore thumbs. They would be easy to spot, you know?
So lets see them. You don’t even have to post the player names, just pot their games played.
I bounce all over with ratings from 2300 to 1800 in the course of one week to the next. Granted im not a good pvper and rely on cheese. I’m just saying you can be all over the place on the ladder.
Cheese is good playing, I have seen tons of youtube vids of good players one shotting people. Its good training imho, always have trinkey defensive hot keys ready lol. Normal players are fighting tons of Gladiator mounted opponents, learning their tricks too, I think its making stronger players.
How would they be offering carries without lots of games played? The troll is saying that these boosters are using multiple accounts to help boost the rating of one player by intentionally losing.
That means they not only have to lose on purpose, and lose rating, but they would also have to gain that rating back. The amount of effort needed todo that would be absurd. Even if we are to ignore the insane amount of RNG of even getting into the same group of not one, but two people, we also have to assume they are grinding out rating on their own?
They probably do. I don’t know enough to find it. I reported the rogue/ dh in the last game.
I do know 2 players that boost/ rmt keys. 1 guy gets enough that he’s carrying 20 or so +18s a day. It wouldn’t shock me if rss was any different. Wish blizzard spent a bit more time on it so it wasn’t all on the players.
But I also don’t blame it as the reason I’m hardstuck at 2k or so on my hunter and dk. I’m just not good enough on either.
I hit 1.8 and stopped on my DK, I am afraid to play more so I just play RSS on alts and alt specs all the time lol. I am like hmmm I gots ma moggies, if I play more its going to be glad teams and they steal all of my ratings lol. Better to have something than nothing lol.
Like the phone scam calls we all get, I picture imagine a call center room, and they are like, real player detected, as they are scurry to que up and steal the players ratings from them to convert into money lol.
Oh for sure. No one is arguing that boosting and carries aren’t happening. It’s more of the method that is the issue. People complaining about glad players in the sub 1k ratings doing some complicated boost makes no sense.
In the end, I just want to see something… anything that would back up what all these people are saying. Not one of them has yet. Not even a single screenshot. I can provide logs for days of everything I post about, yet they offer up nothing.
if your post is anywhere remotely true then it would confirm the idea that there are tons of pvpers who are completely content with hitting 1800 and peacing out for the season after getting their mogs. this is why theres an extreme 2s/3s deflation since its so much easier to get 1800 in RSS and a big chunk of the casual pvp community just wants rewards. this makes the argument for either removing rewards from RSS or adding separate mogs in RSS vs 2s/3s even more dire to the health of pvp participation outside of balance issues.
I can link a twitch vid of cdew and trill on their dh/ mw alts cucking me out of 2.4k in 2s in bfa. Trill’s peels hard carried cdew. Does that count as boosting?
I think you might be right… Serious pvpers are going to push for high ratings.
On my alts I dont want high ratings, that means super long queues, I want fast games and fun. Long day at work, you get home and just wanna blow off steam. Short Queues kinda work out, watch youtube for 10+ min, pause for an rss game and back to the video.
